Hi!

Thank you admins for allowing us to post our
Kickstarter :)

We're building our vision what Virtual Tabletop services
and applications should be. We want to free users from
the hassles of getting connected, but we also want users
to have an actual Virtual Tabletop application they can
use offline, outside our services.

Our applications runs on desktop computers and mobile
devices running Android and iOS. One of these
applications is already available for free, and you can
download it from our
website.
.

Do drop by our
Kickstarter, and support
us make all of this a reality.

Thank you!

Very interesting. I've tried ALL the VTT software out there and none are what I'm looking for. I'll give yours a try....

Thanks for the interest :)

If you have any questions regarding Mote, we're usually on
our G+ community, and Google Group. Links to these are on
the website.

With regard to our Kickstarter, asking here or on the KS
page, is okay.

Thanks again!

Well I just booted it up and already I'm irritated, does this thing ONLY import maps from MapTools are can I just import any JPEG or png file? If so this is annoying enough for me not to use it right off the bat.

:)) You can use any image. Just drag and drop the image
onto the map area. By default it drops on the token
layer, so it might not be in the size you want. you can
right click on the image and select "Change to", and send
it to the Background layer, where you can resize it, by
again, right clicking, selecting the Size menu and, then
set "Free Size".

Second option would be, if your image is in the dimension
you want, you can drag and drop, right click on the
image, select Size, and set to Native Size.

3rd option: You can also use the Map menu -> New or Edit
map -> click the Map button on the right after the dialog
opens -> Click on the File System at the bottom left of
the next dialog, and browse for your map image.

thanks i'll try it. Also I'm not "hosting" a game online, I'm running game map from a laptop connected to a second 50" LED screen laying flat inserted inside a custom gaming table with real miniatures. The only "extra" features that I would use A LOT would be things like templates for spell effects etc. Can I run a map without being online or having a "client"?

Of course, our VTTs are written to work offline.

Usually, GMs will have 2 instances running though, one
for what their players will see on the projection, and
another for the GM view, to manage things.
