Made mostly with the Modern Streets Art Pack. Anyone with that Pack might get ideas from this, or if
the set was made, would find it easy to expand.
Both left hand drive (US) and right hand drive (UK) versions included.
Note that the four green tiles blend into the 6x6 Mansion House Set.
Sample only do not download. Note In Dj use the Stamp for single items, but
the Pencil (5'square, snap to grid centre) to do roads, etc, quickly.
Usual queries: any interest / suggestions / are they worth finalising as a tile set?
Note: If you have the sample tiles as of 29th April, delete them and replace them with the Set of 24th May.
The updated set has renamed some files and added some more, including US / UK versions.
UPDATED FILES 24th May 2012 ...HERE...
Meanwhile if using them, and spotting an error, stick a pidgeon over it, feedback welcomed!
Here is the .dja file:
ZIP_Dundjinni_dja_Modern_Streets.zip
You must have Dundjinni and the Modern Streets Art Pack for this to be of use.

Hi DoctorThanatos,
Have replaced the picture in the first post with an updated version. Almost ready to be chopped up into tiles.
A dundjinni worksheet has space for 20 tiles at a time. So when it comes to doing 21 to 40 it's easy to just
save the sheet under another name and shuffle the objects, walls and such around. [When doing the Dungeon
Tiles Set it wasn't done 20 at a time but in whatever number the mood/imagination took me.]
One design thing is that I've not put on too much clutter such as Street Lamps, etc. These can be added
to taste by users with Dj or Paint.net.
So far it's less Mad Max and more Slightly Annoyed Max, but am considering cracked roads, Police Road Blocks, barricades, etc.

Hi and Welcome Auxlen,
Also see HERE for Mansion Set example maps... (scroll down).
Was originally going to call this "Shaun Of The Dead Journeys To The Winchester Pub", but the title was too
long. Roofs are vital to be trapped on. Drains are helpful for other types of monster. Am considering some
more Modern variants of the Mansion Tiles (insides) using Diggers new modern furniture items. Even had a
thought of making variants the green tiles above to have a fantasy type ye olde road leading the the
Mansion / Dungeon Tiles Sets. {Too many thoughts, must stay focused, do more of these Modern ones first!}
Anyway,
Some sample Modern maps made from these ...HERE...
Tile textures appear to work when rotated.
Suggestions appreciated.

Did you ever make these into a set? Or are you waiting for input/more experimentation with them. I ask because they would work perfect for some Superhero games as well :)
Splendid btw!

Hi EanWulf,
Have posted a link to the current "work in progress" in the first post above. It's a ZIP in Dj folder format with
cover ~properties files. If not using Dj, you can ignore the ~properties files. Currently at 24 Tiles, so some not yet shown here.
Some small errors are being fixed during testing maps, so the set will be updated later.
Some more practice / test maps are going into the...sample Street Maps thread...
Anyone with Dj and the Modern Art Pack can make extra 6x6 tiles in a few minutes.

Police arrived quickly to the 10-50, but were baffled as to the cause...
