After waiting for more than a year, the Store has finally been opened again

Please spread the word ...

I hope you can all find on there what you were missing and than sales can start again for those who want to buy Dundjinni.

BTW not sure if there is a Store representative (someone with administrator access to the Store area). None of us forum admins has such access.

Also, since we don't yet know if this is a permanent fix or a temporary one, this is your chance to get your registration codes.

If you purchased DJ, or any of the art packs, PLEASE go to the store and download ANY and ALL codes and WRITE THEM DOWN for future reference. We do not have access to these numbers even with the store open, you need to get them.

UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE   ONLY PURCHASE THE DOWNLOAD VERSION OF DUNDJINNI By purchasing the download version your registration numbers will be available online, and it is unknown if there are any DVD's currently available. The download works instantly thru the website store, but the DVD requires that the store representative mail a copy and that may not work.

OH! Humm, only had 3 numbers listed but by the prices I may have gotten several at once. They were waaay back in 2004 and 2006. I don't have the latest version.

I've been thinking of getting the latest and putting it on my laptop. How do I go about doing that?

edit: yep, went back to store and clicked on the highlighted area to get to actual orders with list of access codes, etc. and screen captured them.

Have no idea if this is the correct person or it's from way back in time (got it from the FAQ section under 'how do I order' section:

Quote:
I am a retailer (or distributor). How do I order Dundjinni?

You can order it through several different distributors (see the previous question for a list). For more information please email Ross Jepson, our sales manager.

Ross Jepson was highlighted and you could email him when you clicked on the name. Maybe he is in charge????

Hello,

I was trying to purchase a copy of Dundjinni, but I'm from
Canada and keep getting the error:

"There are no shipments for your selection of
State/Country/Zip and cart content. ** "

Please help!

The only one who can help you is the Store representative (also the owner of Dundjinni Enterprises). She will hopefully turn up soon, since she has allowed the hosting company to reopen the Store again.

@ranakanth, i recieved the same error for the hardcopy version, but
was able to d/l it. That error was for army pacific (which would have
required customs paperwork like shipping to canada) as well as
minnesota, so its not a country thing.

My problems arose when i tried to pay with credit card (browser
would get no response from server ), but in the end i was able to pay
with credit card through paypal.

Thanks. Didn't realize there were multiple options for purchase. Guess I
should have scrolled down further. I'll give the download version a try.

I agree the store has some confusing spots, the drop carrats dont
seem to have options, and other oddities... Like state choice is only
california and if your not frok there type it in? It would have been
much simpler to have a choice for mac/pc or cd version in the store
then when you actualy dl it, since uts on a link within your user area
choose which you dl then.

I would certailny have preferred the cd verson but wasnt going to let
the opportunity to purchase get away from me. I had messed
around with the free version for apparently 1 day too long and was
actually going to order the day the site shut down... So bummed was
I!

Just be sure you save a hard copy of the Registration Key and to be safe, make a back-up of the installation program.

Kepli is trying to set up communication with the owner to improve how the store and other website features are set up, but the process is just beginning. Keep your fingers crossed.

Let us know if you have any questions about using the program. And Welcome to Dundjinni!

Also, one thing i noticed about the zip file is that it had
our order # right in the file name; so I expanded on this
idea and put the registration number behind that. It may
be too long of a file name for linux users though.

I'm not the tech guy here, but I think someone posted that DJ didn't work with Linux or the newest version of Mac. But I could easily be wrong on either point.

It works on Mac OS X 10.7 Lion but you need to fiddle a little and replace the
PPC-stub, have not tested on Linux though.

Haven't had contact with Mindy yet, but she reacted to the email from the hosting company who requested to open the Store again on my behalf. I guess as long as the Store makes money it will stay open

Well done Kepli! Now I can finally get myself an updated version :).

Hope to see you back on the threads soon Mindy

Version 1.0.7 was written specifically for Vista. be sure you turn off User Account Control, Uninstall DundJinni Demo if you have it, and change the installation location from C:\Program Files\ to just C:\

The Root directory instillation issue is random. It wasn't a problem for me either but it has been for some people.

Just a heads up, Credit card processing seems to be down.

I tried it about 5 minutes ago because I wanted to buy the
campaign art pack. The order was generated but when it
redirects me to make the credit card payment, the URL
fails to load.

Unfortunately the store started malfunctioning about 6 months ago and we have not been able to fix it. So the store still allows previous purchasers to access their records and re-download prior purchases, but it won't accept credit card or PayPal payments.

Watch your credit card, if a charge does show up have the credit card bank reverse the charge.

There have been multiple posts about this problem, we have no way to fix it at this time.

It shouldn't be an issue. The interface for the credit
card payment didn't load so it doesn't have my
information. Just sorry to hear I can't get the art pack.

Thanks for the update.

Any idea if the store will ever be online again? I'm not one to just give up easily. Been waiting for more years than I can remember for that durn modern pack.

Give it a try, some people have been reporting they have been able to purchase the software. Just don't order anything that has to be mailed to you, there is no one there the mail it.

Unfortunately when I try to pay through paypal I get the message:

The recipient account cannot receive transactions.

The ones who report that it worked, did they all use credit card directly? Is paypal not an option?

Also, off topic: looked at your DA. Absolutely love the druid camp.

I just used the store successfully to purchase one of the artpacks. I used a Mastercard and it went though easily. It actually was my PayPal credit card, but I used it just like any other card, not through the PayPal system.

You may get the message that it is not a trusted site, I assume that is because nothing has been updated at the store.

To download the artpack, after you have done the credit card transaction, sign into the store again and look for Order Tracking, there will be a link to download it there AND the REGISTRATION KEY, PRINT IT and SAVE it. You will need it someday.

Keep in mind the store has had problems, it just worked for me and it has worked for others. I am not guaranteeing it will work all the time for everyone.

And that worked. I love you, Bogie. Long time. Let's have creepy eye babies. Thank you for that, I kept trying to do it with paypal and it was shooting me down. I honestly never tried straight carding it, and my visa worked.
