Mansion House Set - external walls, internal rooms. Some parts of the other tile sets fit fine, but one
or two of the internal roome here may not work well in the dungeon(?)
The first one is a tile, a corner with only a bit wall. There is a lot of grass on the outer walls to allow for
extensions, rose gardens, etc, and to allow a bit of room for thieves to sneak up in.

Not happy with the stairs. Will need to do an effective up / down tile.
EDIT: Jan 17th: deleted some tiles, including the stairs, to improve the set.

They look really nice
Only thing I find a bit strange are the tiles that have shadows where there are no walls, like the tile Mansion_Walls_Upstairs_Rooms.jpg (2nd from the bottom). This eliminates the possibility to add a second tile to that side for a larger room.

Hi Maxxx,
Yes, agreed. The idea was to reduce the number of "double-thick walls", but the cost is of needing to select the correct adjacent tile. Future insides are likely to be of the general-purpose dungeon type with the edge walls (see mansion_Walls_Upstairs_1.jpg or Mansion_Walls_Upstairs_Room_2.jpg above) and no "side shadows". Then they'd be usable straight in the Dungeon Tile Set too. Simpler is best.
It's difficult to delete finished tiles even to improve the usfulness of the Set...
Not up to the brain-work of the inner walls this week, easier to do the wall extensions like the stable.

Deleted the offending inside tiles. Simplest is best.
Made more tiles instead:
Mansions need scrubbers. This one is Dungeon Tile #88, but with the earth fill replaced by a grass fill...
The last two are probably just standard Totte-filled dungeon tiles...(?)
Enjoy your Mansion!

Small courtyards (peristyle) allow light into the adjacent rooms. Pools can gather rainwater from the
gutters. They also allow Princeses somewhere to hang around while awaiting Princes.
Like that bottom set of steps, so will use them again. A few more and we'll have a Cluedo Tile Set.
