Sample Tileset for spacevessels.
Based on the Convair/Pomona Lenticular Re-Entry Vehicle (AKA Nuclear Space Bomber).
Test only do not download...
Note - this is an experiment to test ideas. The walls, for example, are from a shower, will redo. Following
Dorponds concept that he likes the outer walls and builds inwards. You could put the sides at the back or
even make a circle mini-saucer with the corners.
Tileable StarField was added in Dundjinni as a 1200x1200 "Treasure" overlay, allowing the simple
erasing of all the bits inside the vessel. This keeps it a 100% DJ product (only the cropping in
Paint.Net). Unsure if the Nebula will tile if rotated - if not it's a simple case of choosing one of the others
that will, and is better than a simple black background.
Nebula background Tile is one of many freebies from...
...WebTreats Starfields HERE...
...who don't require crediting (but deserve it)!
Opinions sought...

Hi Bogie,
Your idea of using the (unused) "Treasure" layer for the likes of the Nebula background was what let this work. Easy
then to erase round the bits inside the hull. Until then could only think of slow complex photoshoppy ways of
adding it.
Don't intend to put chairs on. They are a personal taste thing. If you want them, stick 'em on.
Another sample. This time made three new middles: missile, science/recreation and cargo. For some
strange reason in the cargo module a hole was put through the middle of the vessel. Probably thinking
of some odder internal shapes so as to recreate sci-fi vessel shapes. Re-did the wall tile, may still tweak it,
or just give up and use a Kepli standard wall.
Note: as tiles have a 5' edge, that gives 10' corridors when two are together. The plan is to clutter one side
with Digger fillers and the like to create random corridor bottle-necks.
Will post individual tiles after waiting a while for comments, which are of course gratefully received
(usually vital). After which we get to try a few 8 minute ship maps.
Sample only with test tiles, do not download.

Nah, wasn't me, That's Kepli's idea, Yes, it is a Good one.
I like the wall texture, and just knowing that it is a shower floor is a bonus!

Maybe I should stick to the phrase "thanks to the usual supects"...
Anyway, another. Stiched tediously in paint.Net as the tiles have not been made yet. This one has numerous
Mega-Kill-O-Zap laser batteries to protect the three new cargo modules. The cargo modules could directly be used
in ground level factory type buildings if such ever gets made.
So far all are D-shaped lenticular (lens, saucer or flying disk) type, ie real concepts. I suppose, when
trying to develop interest in such things, is to get tiles together that can make a mini-Enterprise shaped
vessel or the like.
Will have to see how easy that is...
Just a sample, do not download...

Changed the background Starfield to another one, also from WebTreats.
It appears that the original was seamless, but not rotationally seamless, which is perhaps relevant for tiling.
You can see how it looks ...HERE......
...where you can also see the mini-Enterprise vessel.
Oddly enough I'm quite happy with the "shower-base" walls, for which I made a little set of variants.
May post them but may add more variants first.

Here are the first the tiles...
A corner turned 4 times makes a baby flying saucer...
Added a blue light overlay on the advanced command unit below. Makes it stand out on the map.
