Hey,

While I am still struggling with the shadow aspect to halo the tokens with, I thought I would take the time to post a token of the Ebon Hawk I came across while perusing the Star Wars model galleries.
I wish I knew the modeller's name to give him credit for his wonderful rendition of this classic looking transport.
Weighing in at 58 kb she should be a welcome addition to any fleet, especially for those who have a slow internet connection!
Yes, it's embryotic at best but for my fourth token attempt, I am somewhat pleased....but I would be a whole lot happier if I could only find that damned Drop Shadow Feature.
Providing I haven't already committed a "fair use" faux-pas I will try and post a few more pending on the answers I recieve from the mods about such things.
What Old Republic campaign would be complete without a Dynamic-Class freighter anyhow?

Thanks to ProBono's patience and guidance, I now present for you viewing pleasure....a finished Hawk.
First of many such to come.

For Personal Use Only.

Peace & Understanding (is infinitely preferable to violence & confusion)

Bonjour,

I humbly bow before the masters but to be perfectly honest, I think the real credit should go to whoever the modeller was and a serious shout out to Probono who walked me through the whole process....I still can't help but feel I was just a monkey pushing buttons.
Trying to find a decent Firespray pic to work on next.
Thank you for the kind words, sir....I shall endeavor to earn more.

NuqneH,

Well, I guess it's just like that trashy blonde always said: "I'm a slave for you"
Every M-17 romp needs a bounty hunter....and every bounty hunter needs a ship....in this case a KDY (although formerly Mandal Motors)Firespray-31 Patrol Craft. On a side note, whoever the original modeller was, he has more talent in his baby toe nail than I have accumulated in my 43 years of life experience!
I am happy with the results as I wasn't sure what the finished product would look like. She is a tad on the heavy side (size wise) but further size reduction seem to drop the pic quality too much, so for that I appologize.
My thanks to those who have been putting up with my requests for help during this painful "teething" period as I begin to climb the Daz3d/Paint.NET learning curve.
I have most of the vessals needed to run my campaign now
(with the possible exception of the Rogue Shadow) so I imagine I should turn my attention to weaponry and equipment for my Old Republic romp. Hopefully they will turn out as nicely as my last two posts.
I may also post a "landed" version of the same craft if the PNG-Gods are kind to me.
Once I am finished, I may upload the lot of em to RPG Mapshare if I am permitted to.
Best Regards from the Heart of Anarchy!

Greetings,

Forget the Rogue Shadow....Eryiedes Strikes Back!
While surfing, I came across this one from Starship Modellers 2008 "Pimp My Ship" contest. One of the coolest kitbashes I have seen in a while.
This one sort of reminds me of Kcrackic's Zenetan Tracer from Farscape....which I would DIE to find a decent dorsal pic of but until then, this one will do nicely.
The only thing I can say is I think this is the dorsal view but if it isn't, I hardly think my (or anyone elses) players will notice the difference.
Just like with the previous post, this one is a bit on the large size but for those who can appreciate a really original design, here it is.
It's a clear case of love at first sight on my part.
Now, if I could only find a use for it....
Best Regards from the Kaskara!

UTINNI!!!!!

I almost forgot....I did promise a few pieces of equipment. Not much, just a few mundane items that would undoubtedly fit well into any sci-fi adventure.
Finally, all those years of surfing for images till the wee hour of the morning have paid off.
Can't wait to get started on my mouseovers!
Thank you for the comments Mr Bogie.
Hoping y'all get as much use out of these as I will.

Man, who b'dat?

Thank you for the kind words Sir Totte.
I wasn't going to post anymore here but after browsing in the 1/6th Warriors Forum, I found a few nuggets that I had to share.
Not everyone in galaxy M-17 uses a blaster made by Relby nor does every warrior wield a lightsabre....and to this end I post a few alien weapons for you gaming enjoyment.
The talent of these custom propmakers of all gendres seems to know no bounds and perhaps one day I will be able to say "I am one of them"....but until then, I remain faithfully a monkey with keyboard!

Dzien dobry,

I just had a request from a friend (as he sat beside me and watched the token process) who happens to be a huge Aliens fan.
Since the Pulse Rifle technically could be usable in my upcoming game, I figured: "Why not?"
Then again....anything worth doing is worth doing it right.
(Oh, how I just love all you prop-jockey's out there!)
Unfortunately, due to the actual image dimensions, it was impossible to add a decent shadow to the sidearm.
For you gaming pleasure, I present a collection of Pulse Weaponry.
Best Regards from Weyland-Yutani

I almost missed the last three PNGs because they were added after the
original post. Makes me wonder what else I may have missed in this manner.
The forum doesn't seem to count edited posts as new messages. It's always
best to put new art in a new post.

Kalimera,

Thanks for the compliments.
I notice how doing updates to a thread takes a little fancy footwork where uploads are concerned.
Not exactly much of an update but using the Aiko model and leaving the red bodysuit on (although Alliance orange would have been too perfect) I have a starfighter pilot of a sorts. Makes me wish I had tried to download Shukky's Helmet.
Best Regards from the flight deck.

Hi again Eryiedes,

Particularly like that set of pulse rifles, thanks!

Here are some examples of that Shukky helmet you mentioned. Because they have an open visor, I stuck Aiko3 inside, then made the body invisible. I left the shadows off so might try pasting over your pilot figures current heads (resize a layer in Paint.net with \Layer Rotate-ZOOM). Might look ok(?)

Only other suggestion, and it's a bit late after all those posts, is in future to consider sticking your tag on the end so that you can get credit for them. E.g. I stick "_PB" at the end of an objects filename; you might have instead of Pilot, you might call it Pilot_Ery or Pilot_Ed or whatever you choose, and if I mod it becomes Pilot_Ery_PB.

(...Glowed the pic as I was too lazy to use drop-shadow... that and I like "glow".)
More please!

Thank you all for the advice and encouragement.
On an unrelated note....SHUKKY'S HELMET!!!!!!
Arigato, ProBono-Chan!
One good turn deserves another and since you seem to be an Aliens fan....this next one is for you, dude.
Anyone who tells you that the Aliens franchize is solely about the M-41a Pulse Rifle with over-under 20 mic-mic needs to get his 'self sum serious schoolin' an such as these next propmakers demonstrate.

I am reminded of that old saying about bringing a knife to a gunfight....but I imagine they never met a Klingon either.
I have been filling out an "alien dojo" and the selection to choose from in the prop forums makes Life Day arrive a bit early this year.

Dia dhaoibh,

Have you just discovered a new planet to use for your spoiled and undeserving (yet obsenely rich) masses only to discover it is populated with 9' tall blue, semi-naked hippies that want nothing to do with corperatism?
Fed up with all those dead-end diplomacy attempts to the naked blue monkeys in the face of falling share prices?
Would you like to fire a very big gun at unarmed and unsuspecting individuals but those pesky prior offences prevent you from law enforcement?
Well, if you answered yes to any of those questions...you too could have a future in the U.S. Postal Service!!!

Alo,

Who is Korobov?
This guy was making freaky looking AK-47 conversions before you (or I) had even soiled diaper number one.
These are not props but are in fact REAL weapons that never got off the drawing board or went into full scale production.
I tossed in a few extras to with them.
Some of you may recognize the tiny lil' fella from the last Universal Soldier movie....and for those of you who haven't seen it....you didn't miss a thing!
I was going to call this: "How I learned to stop worrying and love the AK-47" but most of the younger rpg fans would have no idea what I was talking about since it hasn't been "re-invented" yet by H-wood (and hopefully never will).
Best Regards from the Gulag.

I was expiramenting with Mechagirl Aiko again.
Nothing much different from the last one except perhaps dark hair.

Vanakkam,

I have evidently started a cold war when Bob the Alien's-fiend asked me why I posted all of the Korobov-(explitive) without any US representation.
In the hopes of fostering good relations with our better armed (and increasingly, irrationally paranoid) neighbors to the south, a little non-eastern block content.

Bonjour,

Merci Beaucoups mes gens.
I am looking into the "zipping" thing right now.
I think I finally have figured out shadows for figure tokens and will post a few corrections plus a few new "Zed's".
Also in the news....Chyna has just decided to do porn professionally.
(And you thought YOU had it bad?)
In honor of this I will post a few "amazon" crew members but only the ones with the bodysuit on, a little later in the day.

Thank you for the compliments, sir.
So, lets throw a few more shrimp on the barby shall we?
Like a pair of amazons and Psylocke?
The black body cover seems to almost look like a diver's suit but I need to learn how to flare and accentuate certain portions of the figure to simulate a look of clothing and not (let's say) pvc.
I am watching the tutorial now.
Hope y'all are having a good week.

Salut,

I am still trying to figure out how to get the Mechagirl bodysuit to work on The Girl model. I know I saw it in a tutorial somewhere....hope it wasn't for Daz4,0.
In the meantime, the figure's base (in under garments) is still usable to me and still tactful enough to post.
This'll be a nightmare....a ship almost entirely crewed by amazon women. No male aboard will ever be lucky enough to see the inside of a bathroom ever again unless it arrives on a postcard: "In space....no one can hear you scream for toilet paper"
On a side note: as nice as some of these turned out, the nudes turned out better! A pity only a player in one of my games or a visitor to my dungeon ever gets to see them.
Best Regards from Sigourney Weaver's spacesuit locker.

Decided to update Roadie. To be honest I prefer the black underlay to the red one.

Good Evening,

I was thinking to myself that I was in need of a Zeltron token for a game I intend to run.
After a little thought, I came upon the idea of the red bodysuit I was no longer using for pilots and voila....skimpy jedi. Now, if I could only find a decent sabre WIP.
I still have the clipping problem and whenever I try and compensate, I make things worse....I know, more practice.
Those looking for a zeltron or similar red-skinned alien, here you go.
Best Regards from the backseat of my dad's XP-37 as I fumble in the dark with Miss Boonta. Sounds like fun? Not really....she's a Palowick.

Hagall,

All these pilots up there but only 3 ships in the entire thread.
I will fix that now with a pair of X-wings courtesy of the modelling genius' of Kuhn Global. One blue (with s-foils closed) and one in classic red (with s-foils in attack position).
Also added are high speed versions of the same tokens....an unmodified "cruising" version, a slightly blurred "attack" speed version and an "all out bags to the wall" ramming speed version (for the s-foil attack-mode model only).
I hope y'all can find use for these bad boys in your fleet.
Best Regards from the folks at Incom Corperation.

For Personal Use Only.

Gold Leader Update!

...and updates for the original 3 thread craft...

....and a Z-95 Headhunter.

Ho,

I thought I would preface by mentioning a tiny little detail.
These recent ship tokens (well, all of them for that matter) were created for my use in Maptools and I tried to optimize them for use with that systems "vision" method. This is why they all face downwards (all spacecraft) because this is the default position for front facing when vision is activated. For the newer users to online gaming, if for what ever reason you do this and the token still appears upside gown....I forgot to switch "Flip Horizontal" before I saved the PNG. This should fix that little discrepancy (if any exists) and enable some visually stunning looking furballs even if used to make hex facing changes look more genuine.
That said....I am so happy to bring you this next one courtesy of modeller Stefan Hacker.
(So were the next two I believe)
This blast from the past dates back to 2008 with his scratch-built contest winning entry of the Moldy Crow.
This one doesn't seem to "react well" to my attempts to give it an attack speed version, so this bad boy flies solo.
(Dunno why I didn't think of it sooner!)
Best Regards from Vangaard-Gyre.

For Personal Use Only.

....attack speed update....

....and The Otana.

Cze, witaj

I just made a huge mistake.
Uninstalling Daz3 before installing Daz4 then realizing that many Daz3 models do not work well in Daz4.
I have only been using Daz for maybe a week but I prefer the older version as the newer one has signifigantly less free content available.
Now, I must go unistall and reinstall the works....both V3 & V4 but before I do....I thought I would share a young smuggler I whipped up in Daz4 based off their Genesis model.
Best Regards from Ord Mandel.

....The Dude has now been updated....

....and finally "Lil' Dude".

These look great, but I think many of the poses would be more useful on a

Jambo,

Thank you for the critique....I shall keep this in mind in the future along with file sizes....after this next one that is.
This update would be the Smuggler....now that she has grown up that is.
Made with Daz3d 4....nothing to it really....just seeing what the base software is capable of.
I like the universally alterable Genesis model....but it makes me wish I had a Female setting other than "Real World"....hoping they will have another "She-Freak" setting. They probably already do and I am too cheap to shell out 4 buck or something silly like that.
In the meantime, hope you find use for them.
Best Regards from Corellia.

Great job Eryiedes.

One minor comment, as a convention here we usually identify our art by adding a tag to the file name that lets others know where the art came from and or who modified it.

Example:

If I posted my original work I might ID it with:

Artwork_bg

And if I modified one of GreyTale's tents it would be:

Tent2_GT_bg

It's not a big deal, but it helps us keep things straight around here, considering we have 60 to 70 thousand pieces posted.

And we really appreciate all the effort you are putting into adding great new art to the list.

Hi again Eryiedes,

Ohhhhh... so that's what The Girl looks like top down...
Handy too are the Dude figures - cool dude and the embarassed boy are staples of Anime! Girls and guns, two of my favourite subjects...!!!

Minor DAZ point - if you look back at a couple of the orange suited figures you may see slight examples of what is called "poke-through". The toes stick out of the shoes in certain poses with certain clothes types. Its easily fixed by either making the foot inside the shoe invisible; or drawing over it in Paint.Net with the shoe colour/erasor; or doing complicated reposing and sizing of the foot in DAZ, see ...complex DAZ tutorial here... (I do the easy ways). When shrunk to token size you don't see this small detail anyway...

Bom dia,

Thank you for the link, sir and I really appreciate all the time, instruction and patience from the members here.
(I incorrectly called the term "clipping" instead of "poke through")
I am working on that remedy currently but like a noob, I chose the "classic" look instead of the "Hollywood" interface, which is unfortunately what all the tutorials seem to use....XD....so the learning curve is a bit slower than with Daz V3.
I still have a long way to go in the field of token creation....but since I am here anyways....
The next two would look better if I could afford to buy some weapon WIP's but until then, I can't let a good character fall by the wayside.
So, I give you Ordin and The Reluctant Explorer.
Best Regards from the Turaniic Southern Kingdoms.

For Personal Use Only.

First Ordin....

....and now Mister Crass....

Tried to make The Dude into a Jedi....shaves his head shaolin and goes all "Kane" with a lightsabre....but unfortunately without money, software or talent, I get something like this....

....and for the Hades of it, with the sabre off.

Buon giorno,

Just a "little" update today....(snikker-snikker)....meet Mongo.

For Personal Use Only.

That man has never been a little anything!
James Bond had "Jaws"....Achilles had Belagrius....The Dude has Mongo.

On the tail end, the last tidbit I have to add is a femme fatale for the fledgling hero....Thia Uiir.
(Yes, I know....she also reminds me of BSG RDS Starbuck!)

Best Regards from the Galactica.

Tiny Update....and I must say, I have been looking for a decent dorsal pic of this one from the start.
I present the MacQuarrie Concept X-Wing in attack position....

....and it's "attack speed" version.

Hei,

The game I have been preparing for is about to take off.
The posts will slow to a trickle until I reach portions of it where I need new or more tokens.
Until then I can post a wee update.
I needed an alternate Dude token....one without "peek through" and to this end, I decided to modify the existing token instead of starting from scratch.
I wonder if there is any "sneakers" add-ons for the Genesis model?
Best Regards from The Last Terran.

For Personal Use Only.

Small update....
I was toying with the new "Powered Weapons" pack that Daz has out for free right now.
Thought I would take the time to fix Roadie's blaster and to add her with an "electro-sword", as well as a few new weapons.
Hope they are useful.

Namaskaram,

A booty call late last evening got me to thinking about "ships that pass in the night".
To this end I thought I would pay hommage to my other favorite sci-fi franchise....The Trek.
Most of the examples I found would breach the copyright protocol were I to post them but the models are fair game. Some from RPF, others from Gog knows where.
(Yes, I meant Gog as in "Gog and Magog" and not God....it's a Celt thing)
So, I proudly present to you, a few of the Federations finest.
Best Regards from the Alpha Quadrent.

For Personal Use Only.

Small update. It's not Trek oriented but I felt it deserved to be posted regardless. Coolest design in the whole series....too bad all it ever did was blow up.
Enjoy!

Since Taimdala seems to like Star Trek, this lil' update is for you dude.

I was just going through my drive when I came upon this little gem. Those of you who never saw the old "Droids" cartoon won't have any idea what this speeder is but those of you who do are in for a treat....a Mobquet CL-82.
For your gaming enjoyment I present to you the fastest speeder in the Outer Rim Terretories: "The White Witch"

Harro,

This little update has been a long time in coming.
After many hours of painstaking expiramentation (and remedial tutorial viewings), I have finally figured out how to import my Daz3d V3 library into Daz3d V4. I'd have probably given up a long time ago were I not so stubborn but in this case it paid off. Even figured out how to make the body suit "spandex" and not completely form fitting.
To this end I present an updated Raider Champion, Bast.
(All this really means is that now she is armed or wearing boots....but that's why its only a minor update)
Hope they are useful.
Best Regards from Hido Seitch.

Ey,

Unfortunately the only true top down of that one I have ever seen was hand-drawn version. Needless to say it wasn't suitable for conversion to a token.
Sorry.
I may come across one in the future and should this ever occur I will be sure to post it....it's a wicked cool design.

Geia sas,

A small update today.
(Sorry Hinden....still no Orcus.)
After working out some connection issues with one of my players yesterday, I had little time to do anything but sweat like a pig in this heat but I still managed to find a few moments to finish a couple of tokens.
Once more, the best ones I can not publish here, such as the CCV Gaspera with Atmospheric Processor in tow that a very talented individual named Rukr had made for a fan film that documented the events leading up to the actual colonization of LV-426 in the Aliens franchize....truely breathtaking work....hat's off to you, sir.
(I believe the actual ratio of tokens I make to tokens I can legally post is about 1 in 5 recently!)
Fortunately, I located a few "diamonds in the rough" that I can share with y'all.
The first one, I believe, was only on screen for a few seconds during the first Starship Troopers movie but they definitely left an distinct impression upon the Arachnids of "Planet P"....even if it was in the form of a series of flaming craters. The Earth Federation (PTUI!!!) Trans-Atmospheric Tactical Fighter. Whether it was ever included in any of the other movies of the Troopers franchize, I wouldn't know since I almost didn't bother with the first....all that "Rah-Rah Sis Boom-Bah" for the military industrial complexe crapola made me wanna vomit....but the ship WAS cool for the few seconds it was seen.
The second was from the completely unwatchable and absolutely purile "Space Above and Beyond" series. The USMC (Double PTUI!!!) Hammerhead with the worst acting award (EVER) going to Lt. Shane Vansen. What the television execs were thinking by giving that project a greenlight is beyond me but it serves as concrete proof that most of Hollyweird is on crack 24 hours a day.....just ask Charles Sheen.
Alright, enough ranting...."shaddup and post the tokens farmboy"!
Best Regards from Chiggy von Richthofen.

For Personal Use Only.

I ALMOST forgot....
This little gem turned up on a German kitbash modellers site. The horseshoe design is simple yet (imo) quite elegant and I simply HAD to add it to the post.
(Serves me right for not having my morning cup o' java!)

Taking the day off.
Thought I would leave a little something before I left....

This last one I forgot I had on my drive. Winner of a Starship Modeller kitbash contest, I believe....or if it didn't, it should have! Truely a classic for those who liked RTS based 3d Space Strategy games. Some of you may remember a game called "Homeworld 2"? Those that do will be familiar with the Higaren faction? Well this customized RDS version of an Interceptor is sure to make your day.

Thunderbolt Update....can't have a Draconian Marauder without a Thunderbolt. Wonderful modeller, inspirational work.

Czesc,

So, I was just sitting there....surfing for decent dorsal pics when I come across this one. Brilliant modeller, 100% homemade, custom-made parts, magnificient choice to immortalize.
The Taidan Triilkor Interceptor from the RTS game Homeworld....just so the Higaren Interceptor in the previous post doesn't get lonely.
Hope y'all find use for it.
Best Regards from Southern Turanic Kingdoms.

Small Update....MC-80 Independance Class Cruiser!

Vaturak,

Everybodies favorite Arkanian returns for a limited time only....just like the McRib, Roadie's back....except there's actually meat on HER bones!

- "Number One Pin-Up" in the CSA Sector....but since the Mid-Rim worlds don't really count in most "civilized" surveys, the title is purely honorary.

- "Best Female Technician in the 415th Assault Fleet" in addition to being the ONLY female technician in the 415th Assault Fleet.

- "Lead Designer of the Koensayr BTL Series Alternative Four Bomber"....well, she's the only person in the entire project....and her employer doesn't know she's even done it yet....using stolen parts in a stolen fighter....and she built it using her employers facillities....and she's illegally testing it in live fire with unwitting complicity of the G.A.R. 719th Aggressor Squadron without ever logging a single minute of combat experience in simulator or reality.

So, she is like....sooooo fired!!!

If more damning evidence from this technician's troubled past keeps surfacing, Koensayr may have to rethink its current contract with Miss Roadie Deiss.

For Personal Use Only.
(Insert cheesy pun here....)

(Daz3d V4 actually let me import and use "The Girl" figure. Using their "Genesis-style" interface ease, I was able to dial her dimensions to a touch more fit and a bit less flotation device....although I'm sure it hardly shows!)

With the game only a few hours from starting I thought I would take the time to toss out one last Capital Class ship. This time, a Venator....backbone on the Clone Wars.

Hope it's useful.

Sekoh,

Well....since the start of this thread I have looked for a decent dorsal of this ship and to be honest (with my Google-rigged results) I don't think there is a better one than the one I found this morning.
I prefer models but a kit of this one doesn't exist yet and the only usable pics are art-based concept pieces displaying all the wrong angles. Till a good kitbash comes up, this one will do.
Hope y'all find them useful.
Let the serious Jedi stomping begin with a double-tap of The Rogue Shadow.
Best Regards from Juno Eclipse.

Tiny Update....an advanced ISA Gunship....always loved the B5 Whitestar and this beefier design is just what the doctor ordered whether you are getting rid of those pesky Shadows, their Drakk minions or just preventing pirate raiders from stealing all of your Mygnl Chorts.
While B5 material is plentiful, GOOD B5 material is actually quite rare which makes this find all the more enjoyable....

....and the High Speed Pass variant.

Y't'h,

So, I have beeen surfing for good dorsal pics of an X-Wing, V-Wing and an E-Wing. Couldn't find a thing....wasted hours. Turns out what I had been looking for had been sitting on my drive anyways, courtesy of Kuhn Global.
These are bound to put a little "zing" in any furball.

Kasaleliah,

So, I thought I would take the time to stop by and update the thread. Replace a few poorly chosen craft and add a few new ones. That bent laser cannon on the Red-5 token last time was really bothering me, even if it was a flawless dorsal angle shot.
These new ones are comin' at ya live from the modelling Guru's at Resin Illuminati. Just a few choice pieces that no Geonosian invasion should be without.
A Corellian Engineering Corperation CR-40 Escort Frigate and a Republic Self Propelled Heavy Artillary walker or SP-HA for short.
Hope y'all find use for them.
Best Regards from Suun Fac's landing pad.

For Personal Use Only.

Since your probably gonna be playing the Republic, you'll DEFINITELY need one of these....

....and since the All-Fractalsponge ISD Fleet I have needs something to shoot at eventually....

....and just because I think everybody looks good in blue....

....and since the Venator I dropped on you last time needs something to shoot at as well or it will begin to feel left out!

Just finished up for our weekly game later today and I happened to come across this one. Fantastic modeller, great choice....a classic with a twist. Unfortunately a better dorsal pic does not exist but its hardly unusable.
This one is for all the Trek fans out there....a heavily customized D-7 Battlecruiser.
Qapla'!!!

For Personal Use Only.

Bula Bula,

This next one has been a longtime in coming.
Never had it in my mind to do YT-1300...figured "someone MUST have done an excellent one by now". Best I saw so far was taken from a Star Wars Galaxies ortho sheet. No drop shadow, moderate resolution.
Figured I could just "fix up" the one I did find.
End result?
I botched it bigtime and accidently overwrote the original.
Now my little project became an actual problem.
I looked for a few weeks and turned up a few likely candidates but they all "stalled just short of the finish line".
Translation: They all had that "static image vector" bug that causes a PNG converted JPG to have a yellow directional arrow instead of just turning the token image when you set facing. Lost at least 3 excellent conversions doing that but this morning that dry spell came to an end.
I can finally claim to have the YT-1300 back in my library for the first time since I vaped it. Couldn't for the life of me recall where I had originally found it so, just re-downloading it was out of the question.
In this case, some talented modeller out there made my day with his rebuild of a Falcon kit.
Hope y'all find use for it.
(I also updated the Y-Wing from earlier in the thread and I think you will all be happy with the results.)
Best Regards from the Corellian Engineering Corperation.

For Personal Use Only.

Small update.
Since this is apparently a "freighter post" today, I figured I couldn't let it rest with just the YT-1300. To this I will now add a "tuna boat" better known as the Gallofree Yards GR-75 Medium Transport or simply Rebel Transport. Wonderful scratch-built....love the battle damage!

Labdien,

I know a few of you are going to be praising the name "Eryiedes" in a moment or two for this next classic, whether you had been looking for one or not!
Firmly entrenched in videogame mythos and reigning supreme of all the Metal Gear Solid bosses.
From a very talented modeller....spectacular work....incredible detail....kitbash from my understanding but whether the parts were just scavenged or home-cast is unknown to me.
Without further adieu...I present to you: The Metal Gear Solid Rex!
Best Regards from Solid Snake.

God dag,

Thought I would take the time to update both Mon Calamari Starcruisers from earlier in the thread (be sure to check the older pages....Mon Cals Caps aren't the only posts being updated). That and add an entirely new one.
Although the Galactic Empire used these ship in an purely auxilliary capasity, the Corperate Sector Authority adopted this ship as one of it's primary patrol vessals in addition to numerous pirate groups fortunate enough to acquire one.
I hope y'all find use for this bad boy in your fleet.
Best Regards from the CSA Sector.

Li ho bo,

Thank you for the kind words gentlemen...now, if only I had designed her.
Some Star Wars craft are notoriously difficult to find decent dorsal shots of. Still looking for decent dorsal shots of a Razor Fighter, a Cloakshape or Preybird Fighter and an Interdictor cruiser but I am sure with patience, I will eventually find them.
For today however the fare will be somewhat of a cornucopia.
Best Regards from Tormented Space.

For Personal Use Only.

Ever wonder what clones do in the off hours? Evidently they like Phon sex with Replicants!

Now, to get a little "martial" on y'r keisters...

...with a smidgen of alien firepower for seasoning.

For the main course we take a little detour into Peacekeeper space. This one was pretty elusive but I finally tracked her down and made the kill good and proper. A Peacekeeper Biomechanoid Leviathan...sorry, no "starburst version"...

...and for dessert, how about a Peacekeeper Prowler to keep Moya company?

Senga Yai,

Thank you for the compliments, sir.
Let's see what I can do to honor them.
Once more, a sorta of "cinematic cornucopia" is up for grabs today.
From BSG TOS, Star Wars and beyond the Spindrift.
Hope they are useful.
Best Regards from the Locus system.

For Personal Use Only.

Then to toil the sands of distant hostile worlds...

...then a little something to kick Imperial keister while hiding out on Hoth.

Now, a Viscount-Class Mon Cal Starcruiser because every Mon Cal fleet needs a Flagship!

Next up, a short range fighter...because "sith happens".

Then showin' a little "love" for my clone brothers and sisters...

...even a little something for your "rag-tag fleet"...

...and last but not least, the Otana I posted from waayyyy back needed a place to be "rejected" from and no place I know fits that bill like the Twin Suns Shipyard & Repair Platform.

Ranalim,

Thought I would make one last addition before turning in.
I would have prefered they be from Fractalsponge but a german custom modeller will do in a pinch, especially with the skill he has. All custom done from scratch I believe. A bit larger than studio scale if memory serves, must have taken a long time to complete. It's not a "perfect" dorsal pic but its as close to one as you will find that isn't rendered.
Hope y'all find use for an Imperial Star Destroyer.
Best Regards from Seinar Fleet Systems.

For Personal Use Only.

Small update.
I have seen a lot of BSG material, both from TOS and RDS. I have seen Vipers of all sorts (the DeSanto is my fave!), Battlestars, Raiders, and pretty much all of the "Rag-Tag Fleet" classics. I even added "The Wingship" just a post or two ago, but in all that time I have yet to see a Cylon Basestar.
Let's do something about that right now shall we?

Selamat pagi,

Small Update today.
Thought I would take the opportunity to post an Alliance cruiser. About as synonomous with Star Wars as the Falcon and the X-Wing this ship has been in pretty much every movie of the series. I am refering to none other than the Corellian Engineering Corperation CR-90 Upgraded Corvette better known as the Rebel Blockade Runner.
Hope y'all find use for it.
Best Regards from the Orbital Shipyards.

For Personal Use Only.

Small addition. A few Republic war machines for your arsenal. A TX-120 Repulsorlift Tank and an LAAT Gunship.
Happy Hunting.

Zdrasti,

I was going to add this to the last post but this submission is deserving of its own entry.
Yes, the LAAT and TX-120 are rare finds....hense the miniature models versus the regular kitbash and customs I prefer to post but this one is a special case.
I never really thought mush of it until I saw the Clone Wars CGI movie in which they were used to scale a sheer mile high cliff to assault the monastry on the planet of Teth. Caught me by suprise that one did but not as much as watching Ahsoka Tano stand atop the cockpit to defend the Walker against Dwarf Spider attacks....one of the more original scenes in the whole series short of the the ambush Aayla Secura fell into against the Super Droids.
I hope y'all find use for this piece of utter destructive nastiness.
For your viewing pleasure....I present to you the Republic AT-TE.
Best Regards from the Geonosian Front Lines.

For Personal Use Only.

Brief Update.
A Republic Assault Shuttle.

OL,

WOW!
Awesome job, dude!
I saw it on mapshare first and was blown away.
(I have to learn how to do that sorta stuff)
Much thanks for giving the ISD a much needed "facelift".
While I am at it, I'll add another ship to the fleet.
Not exactly a glamorous vessel but I doubt there are many Imperial controlled systems that do not have one stationed at a QX series platform. I refer to the IPV-1 System Patrol Craft.
Hope y'all find use for it.

Love this thread!

Another idea to to get, or pretend to get, a perfect dorsal picture, is to cut it in half, copy it, flip it, then paste the half back on:

>>> EDIT - I've went back to the original and cut the straight front of the conning tower and then tried to blend it in to the "mirror ship" using drop shadow and brightness / contrast. At least it's better than the U-shaped bridge of the first attempt! <<<

As Star Wars this is personal use only.

[Note that when doing rendering your DAZ figures such as Mongo you own the render copyright- just not the model - unless specifically mentioned in the DAZ licence that comes with the model.

Zdravstvuite,

Hmmmm, an interesting idea you have there PB.
I am already looking for "suitable" candidates to test it on. Thank you for the head's up.
Not much of a posting day today for me but I do a have a few choice tidbits to share.
Appears today will be a double tap of TV sci-fi to wet your appetites.
The first was from a series that to be perfectly honest, I couldn't stand. Maybe it was the acting....maybe it was the horrible writing....or maybe it was just Kevin Sorbo....with so much going against the show, its impossible for me to say either way....but the ship WAS cool. I refer to the Andromeda Ascendant, High Guard Battlecruiser. (Sorry, still looking for a decent Slipfighter pic!)
The second one I have been on the look out for whenever I surf. I was able to locate a decent Moya and a pretty decent MK IV Peacekeeper Prowler but ships from Farscape are notoriously difficult to find usable pics for token conversion. HOWEVER....diligence has paid off and now all those sleek & sexy PK swarmers now have a place to dock, refuel and rearm. It could be none other than the Peacekeeper Command Carrier.
They are a bit on the small side compared to other posts I have made but I am certain this will come as a relief to some!
I hope y'all find use for them.
Best Regards from the other side of the Wormhole.

For Personal Use Only.

Fofo,

I have been following your progress PB. I haven't been able to make one work yet but perhaps its my choice of pic combined with lack of talent.
For now, I have a decent pic for posting today. The "Heruca ISD" needs a command ship and I can think of no better candidate than The Executor! Sure, the original version (that I use) is over 1/2 meg in size and is thusly thread "unfriendly" but a slightly reduced version seems to have done the trick.
The original model is over 5' in length. Fantastic custom model....a truely talented individual. I hope he considers other projects.
Hope you find use for it.
Sorry, no Death Star to crash it into yet....but the night is still young and I have a lot of coffee!
Best Regards from low Endor orbit.

Nazdar,

Been a little bit since I have posted but a recent development in my current game threatens to end it before it even began.
That said, I figured, I would just post a couple of ships I had kicking around on my drive. All custom made or kitbashed from the Resin Illuminati.
Hope y'all can find use for them.

Al salaam a'alaykum,

Thank you for the kind words gents.
This post will probably grow over the course of the day but lets throw in a little BSG and ESB to kick it off.
Both come via the model forums....unbelievable talent from some remarkable people.
The first one is the DeSanto Viper which I believe is also refered to as the MK IV.
The second one comes to you from the Cloud City of Bespin. Technically an airspeeder but definitely a beautiful design.
The final ship was never seen in any of the Star Wars movies but is still an awesome design. The Imperial Scimitar Bomber.
I hope y'all find use for them in whatever far away galaxy you may find yourself in.
Best Regards from the Resin Illuminati.

Hafa Adai,

Thought I would take the time to add a ship to the fleet.
This time from a moldy oldie 80's sci-fi classic. I am not sure if it predated Tron but it did feature (for the time) "cutting edge" computer compositing for a majority of it's effects, despite ranking a 9 out of 10 on the cheese scale. It could only be The Last Starfighter's Gunstar...loved the "Death Blossom" mode!
(Used to have such a crush on M.C.S. back in the day)
Hope y'all find use for it.
Best Regards from the Arcade.

Hold on there! Surely you cannot say that about the dear President who, if you remember, won the Nobel Peace Prize (Nobel here). "The Nobel laureate wins a gold medal, a diploma and 10m Swedish kronor ($1.4m)".

Loved the Scimitar... Don't know which episode some of these are coming out of but I like 'em. Anyway, modded the Scimitar to show the tie style wings on both sides a little better, perhaps.

Tashi Delek,

Don't get me started about "Barrak Bonehead".
I think "facist, psychopath" and "criminal" were being polite.

As for the Scimitar....I think it was created for Grand Admiral Thrawn's Campaign. I believe it took place after the Battle of Endor (ABY 5) but prior to the establishment of the New Republic....in something like ABY 15.
(ABY = After Battle of Yavin)

The Gunstar is taller when the landing struts retract from those long black sections running down the fusilage. Then, it was the 4-5 story elevator ride to the bottom so you can kiss the girl. The actual chairs in the cockpits ARE quite small.

Nice work by the way!
With any luck, I will have a Roger Young to post later on today....Best Regards.

Awesome model....some real talent for this level of scrathbuilt....the token doesn't do it justice.

Hope y'all find use for it.

Hech na goh,

Thought I would take the time to drop by and add a little firepower to the thread. Mostly foreign models and one that never existed at all (like the fictional Podbyrin from Red Heat....actually just a Desert Eagle with a nose job!) but some of them do look pretty "spacey".
Not much included from America....sorry, Bob.
Hope y'all find use for them.

Oh-see-YOH,

My last post was a tad off topic so I figured a few sci-fi popguns might even things out.
One you will recognize right away since the DL-17 is as synonomous with the Rebel Alliance as the E-11 is to the Empire.
The second while in all liklihood was in the first Star Wars movie (The REAL first one and not the Hayden sob stories!) but was on screen so briefly that in all my years, I have yet to see it except as a prop. A Sporting Blaster Rifle that as near as I can guess-timate was owned by one of the seedier Mos Eisley inhabitants.
The final one comes from 1/6th Warriors website. A Plasma Cutter tool for a rescue team that should definitely feel at home in any space romp.
Hope y'all find use for them.
Best Regards from your good friends at Blastech.

Howdy,

I was just going through my drive when I came upon a pair of weapons I meant to post a few weeks back and simply forgot.
The first is a prop I believe but it was so well constructed that it may as well have been in the Star Wars saga. Ever wonder what a Shotgun Blaster looks like?
As for the second it needs no introduction unless you,ve been hiding under a rock for the last 20 years. Made infamous by the movie Terminator it only be the Phased 40watt Plasma Rifle.
Hope y'all find use for them...now try not to singe your eyebrows off.
Best Regards from John Conner.

Hafa Adai,

Thought I would add a few "doodads" to the equipment inventory. Not much really....just a few odds and ends I needed for an upcoming adventure.
Hope they are useful.

COME ON NOW....PB, somebody has GOT to fiddle around with THIS one....putting the Totte Panty Bomber on it or SOMETHING!?!

Hey....pull my finger, quick!

DHS & TSA would drool with the possibility of everyone having one of these!

Como estaka?

I haven't posted a new ship here for a while....let's remedy that shall we?
This next one suprised even me. Seen on screen for only a few seconds and even then only at a great distance. It has been aluded to in the official storyline that the Troopers who stormed Tantive IV and prisoners taken for questioning were ferried to and from the Devastator in identical craft during the opening of A New Hope. Euuugghh....I hate that title! Little did I realize that unlike the TIE/SA, it's wings are inverted in the opposite direction, a fact I did not discover until a few nights ago. A very talented modeller indeed. Enough with the foreplay....TIE Shuttle....here you go!
Hope y'all find use for it.
Best Regards from the Nar Shadda Orbital TIE Factory.

Last minute additions....a few odds and ends to scatter about your maps.

Han Solo claims that his spaceship "made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs". Keeping
to the same level of scientific knowledge, these versions can make the journey even faster, because
they are more streamlined. Probably.

No...no...no. It would be wrong to allow the ongoing TotteWar to spread onto other, peaceful threads.

Meanwhile, however, Princess Leia Organa accidentally left her eBook on the old Millenium Falcon...

Ahoy,

Todays post is going to be a set.
In this case, a Republic Commando post.
There will be two reposts. The DC-15s and the DC-17m carbine....but to these I will add three more.
The Blastech DC-17m modular weapon system also has two other forms than the standard carbine....both of which I haven't posted as of yet.
One would be the sniper rifle version of the DC-17m and the other is the grenade launcher version.
Fantastic props, their creator is astoundingly talented.
(Now, if I could only meet a woman that level of talent!)
The last token would be the weapon system in a carrying case.
Except for the Katarn Armor, everything you need to be an RCT series Trooper is here!
I hope y'all find use for them.
Best Regards from the planet Kamino.

Hi there,

(Yeah, I am running out of languages to say "hello" in.)
I haven't posted here in a while and as a famous person once said: "That will never do"
I have another small set today and this time it's going to be "explosive" post....a modular grenade system.
Included is are three complete grenades and the Variable Arming Fuse System. Flavors include: Fragmentary, Incendiary and a Smoker. Of course, since Codex Alimentarius now classifies vitamin C a "poisonous toxin", perhaps you might be in more trouble with an orange "flavored" smoke grenade than the traditional exploding kind. Lets hope they never come in "lemon" yellow!
Hope y'all find use for these.
Best Regards from the epicentre.

Greetings,

Today, we have yet another set for you.
This time in the form of Covenant weaponry. I personally never played any of the Halo franchize of games. Just never appealed to me I guess. I figured Killzone had a more enjoyable storyline but some of the popguns were neat lookin'.
To that end, lets spread around a little alien firepower and see what happens? Apparently if we don't give all of our fiat currency to Al Gore, space aliens are going to wipe out mankind for carbon emissions? Are you freakin' kidding me? Cows are farting so much we have to be taxed into oblivion for it? What kind of inbred RNA damaged retards are running this freak show anyways? I may be in the minority having the belief that AGW is a total myth being perpatrated against mankind for the benefit of a select "sister humping" few, but I think I can safely say (to those who claim aliens hate us for overproducing one of the most common elements in the known universe) whatever it is you're smoking....I want your dealers number!
(And all this time I bet you thought the Covenant wanted the HALO.)
Hope y'all find use for these.
Best Regards from that Master Chief clown.

LOL,

It kinda DOES when I look at it sideways!
Well, this almost went into "A Gun for all Seasons" but since its Halo....
Thought I would throw in a few "Gears" weapons as well as something for "Master Chump" to use when all that alien firepower comes a knockin'.
Hope you find use for it.
Best Regards from ODST.

Greetings,

Muchly thankish for the words of encouragement, good sir.
No good deed ever goes unpunished so I have yet another set for today....this time originating from the series Star Trek: Enterprise.
Plenty of good props to choose from in that series to make tokens of, but today, I find my material surfacing from the realm of 2d artwork. Credit to the renderer....he has shown either undue dilegence in locating previously unseen weaponry or fantastic creativity in creating MACO flavored goodies that look as if they SHOULD have been included! I have surfed the net for years and have yet to find props as good as these to toy with....Bravo (or Brava).
I would normally give y'all some big, long-winded description with a touch of unrelated trivia for seasoning but since rules are meant to be broken, lets just get right to the weaponry.
(Note: The Phase Pistol, Phase Carbine and a few other Trek weapons can be found earlier in the thread, for those so inclined.)
Hope y'all find use for 'em.
Best Regards from The MACO's.

Hulo,

Only a small set for today....this time a bone daisho set. Courtesy of 1/6th Warriors I believe....if memory serves, they were part of a Predator custom build. Awesome looking weapons, I should have just broke down and done them sooner.
(So much for not doing a Katana....)
Hope y'all find use for them.
Best Regards from The Dojo.

Kalimera,

Since posting the bone swords, Daz3d has released a few free packs. Sure they're swords, but most of my games (especially the ones with blasters in them) still use swords. They are kinda "purdy".
Hope y'all find use for these.
Best Regards from the Phalanx.

Courtesy of Daz3d....for a limited time only....the first 50 orders will recieve this handy dandy Swiss Army Knife, free of charge! Sure, you "might" get through an adventure without having to resort to a sword but just TRY and get through one without a corkscrew!

Good to see ya,

We have another set for today....this time from Farscape.
I had already posted the PK Pulse Pistol and Qualta Blade in earlier in the thread but the rest of these are all original. Even the Westinghouse Plasma Rifle has been modified to look more like the movie version than the prop version with the magazine inserted.
Hope y'all find use for these.
Best Regards from Tormented Space.

(For Personal Use Only.)

Let's get the reposts out of the way.
(When I locate a good Qualta Rifle pic, I will be sure to post it)

Yeah, I know...it's from Gears of War but it looks very much like a fancy Pulse Pistol.

Now, the modified Valmet.

Finally, the new stuff!

Of course, that not the only "knife" used by Peacekeeper Forces. I had no clue what this holdout blaster was named until I picked up the D20 Farscape game.

Sure, it was originally from Seaquest DSV but it has the look and feel of a Farscape weapon so I threw it in anyway.

Next up is the Pulse Rifle used by guards in the Shadow Depository run by Natira. I swear, if Kylie Minogue were born on a world designed by H.R. Giger....Natira is exactly what she would look like!

What would be the use of a Farscape game without some of these kicking around?

And last, but not least, The Peacekeepers Heavy Pulse Rifle....essentially just a souped of version of the standard rifle but was very difficult to locate decent pics of the prop.

Small Update....Ho'Ock's Pulse Carbine and a Scarren Pulse Pistol.
(Working on a Grudik's Rifle right now and will be sure to post it....if it turns out!)

Peace & Understanding (even put the Peacekeepers & Scarrens in their place!)

Thank You muchly.
(I thought so too!)
Only a small post today....perhaps an update later on.
As promised, a Grudik Whaler Pulse Rifle.
To add to that, an Earth Alliance Particle Projector Gun from the series Babylon 5 and a House Atreides Rifle from the Dune motion picture. (Not sure what type of weapon it is to be honest)
Hope Y'all find use for them.
Best Regards from Caladan.

(For Personal Use Only.)

Small Update....the Pnumatic(?) Musket used by the natives of the Intergalactic Planet of Peace in the worst Star Trek of the series....Part V. If the Star Trek movie series were the band KISS, then Part V would be either The Elder or their "Disco" album! I always liked the stone-shooting zipgun design....not very powerful but effective when used in large numbers.
Don't wander The Wasteland without one!

'Nother small update....inspired by the Valmet modification, I took the liberty of modifying an AUG and a FAMAS to look like Pulse Rifles to add to the token library. The last one is a Sandman's Plasma Pistol from the movie Logan's Run.
"Halt, Runner!"
BZAP!!!

'Nother small update....a few odds and ends for some serious Farscapin'.

(Alright, so this next one is actually from Firefly from one of the two "never aired" episodes.)

This one is an "early series" BSG Blaster.

Peace & Understanding (thinks Napolitano DOES look like an "ogre"....maybe she should shave more often.)

I have been scouring the net for a decent topdown of the Orcus ever since....I was certain I had seen just such a pic at one point. In all that time, the best I have found is this one: (Kudos to the artist, btw)

(For Personal Use Only.)

Other than that, I have only two other things to post for now. Staying in tune with the "Farscape" mind-set, I thought I would like to add Ka D'Argo's Luxan Tokkar and Aaryn's Mother's PK Retrieval Squad Blade.
Best Regards from The Breakaway Colonies.

Oy,

Glad to be of assistance, sir!
I'm only sorry it took me that long to find ANY pic of it at all but I was determined to find that CGI model I once saw. Needless to say if I ever do come across it, I will be sure to post it.
Well, my Farscape Mapping Project is coming along nicely. The most lengthy slowdown occurs as I take screencaps of the series to use for mouseovers of the worlds, aliens, equipment and ships....took me all night to go through 3 seasons and I still have one to go! Every now and then however, I come up short for a token to use or the existing token is so unlike the mouseover pic that I HAVE to create something to "smooth over the rough edges" as it were. Last night, I needed a few map objects....just some planets and object to represent the Zenetan Scrapyard (seen in the show) or Luxan Territory.
Hope y'all find use for these.
Best Regards from the Carolina Kiva BQQ.

Live long and prosper,

Today we have a few weapons from the Star Trek series.
To begin we have the Romulan Rifle from the latest JJ Abrams travesty....he completely ruined the whole franchize worse than Star Trek V ever could have!
(Sorry, the wire rigging didn't remain in the final token but it was just to tedious to redo them all)
Next up would be the Non-Cabal Suliban Phaser Pistol, although in my games, it's an A'Ann Electrocution Pistol.
Third up is the Motion Picture version of the Klingon Death Sting from Star Trek V....what's the difference?
Check earlier in this thread for the answer.
Lastly, we have an alien blaster of sorts....I have no idea what its from or what its supposed to do but it looks like a wicked design! One of the best looking blasters I have seen in a long while.
Definitely some talented prop makers out there...hat's off to ya guys.
Hope y'all find use for them.
Best Regards from the operational Reman Snuff Box I left in JJ's car trunk!

(For Personal Use Only.)

Bonus Post:

I remember seeing a thread here about Trek Consoles and LCARS....to that end, I would like to add the Defiant's Helm position display panel. I hear the original sold in an auction recently for a considerable sum.

Small Update....included below: A Snub Steyr PKD from Bladerunner, an alternate PK Pulse Pistol & Symbol and finally, a Ghostbuster's Proton Pack.

Bienvenue,

So, things are looking rough in todays markets. Things are so volatile that every time Obama opens his mouth, the dollar takes a nosedive. Many people try and take refuge in precious metals instead of fiat currencies that are debased and devalued on the whim of mad men. They say its true value lies somewhere in the notion that when compared to the actual age of planet Earth....gold is too young to have naturally formed here and most likely hitched a ride on a few meteors in the loonnngggg distant past.
(Kewl, huh?)

BUT WHY WAIT FOR AN ASTEROID TO HIT AGAIN TO STRIKE IT BIG!?!

For a limited time only....you can have these four bars of Gold Pressed Latinum guarenteed to come from: "I have NO idea where but its probably legal."
(Truely awesome props....no idea if they are screen-used or not but I hear the whole set of (4) weigh 3 lbs)Hope you find use for them....and don't crack them open, whatever you do....Latinum in it's liquid form is quite toxic to most carbon-based life.
DRIVE SAFE!!!

(For Personal Use Only....and possibly barter)

Cheers,

Heheheh.....my favorite line from that movie:
"I'm terrified beyond the capasity for rational thought."
Well, I have taken a few days off so I won't have much up for a bit but I do "sorta" have a token to post.
This one was VERY elusive....the Zenetan Slug Pistol from Farscape. Thing about this one was there was a hand blocking the grip. I managed to reconstruct it "adequately" but there really are no better pics of this weapon to be found on the net. I'm sure this prop started as a super-soaker (like most Farscape props) but it does resemble a 9mm Calico.
The other thing about this weapon is that in the span of the series, it was seen 3 times and in each instance, the weapon was brandished in a different fashion. First time it was seen it was held upside down. The second time it was held right-side up and the third time it was held reversed. (I personally prefer the upside down version.) As difficult as it was to find a pic of this prop, the rifled version (used by the Vocarian Bounty Hunters) is even more elusive than this one.
Good thing I'm relentless!
I hope y'all give this one a good home.
Best Regards from Talyn.

I found a pic of Zoe's gun from Firefly. I don't remember seeing it posted here before (but I'm not sure) so here it is.

Merry annual aging, Mr B!

It can be found in "A Gun for all Seasons" at the top of page two. Funny thing is, mine had an incorrect frame but the proper lever. Yours has the correct frame and the wrong lever. Between the two of us we have an actual "Mare's Leg". I may have Jayne's Fullbore Autolock for posting tomorrow.

For what its worth, it is correct that you can have true understanding without peace....BUT you can NEVER have true peace without understanding.

- End the Fed
- Crash J.P.Morgan/Chase
- Investigate the lies of 9/11
- Expose the slavery of organized religion
- Stop the IMF
- End the senceless wars of aggression
- Abolish Codex Alimentarius

You wanna know who's really guilty without doing 10 years of research?
Simple.
Follow the money.

Peace & Understanding (unlike the White House has no need to employ a slimey P.R. firm to keep the citizenry from stringing them up by the short and curlies and using them as clay pidgeons!)

Yo,

Only a single token post for today that comes to us from the worst Star Trek of the series.
Yes, thats right....the last one. Now I am sure there are some of you that are thinking: "But Star Trek V sucked decaying intestines....how can you possibly think that the last one was worse?"
Well, when Star Trek V ended....at least the whole series was STILL intact and relevant, regardless of how bad it was.
The only lesson learned from Trek V is this:
NEVER mix christianity with sci-fi....each of them is unbelievable enough on their own without any help from the other.
The lesson from the Abram's Trek?
The next time you hire a director to do a movie from a franchize....make sure he has at least SEEN the franchize first!
Not too many interesting weapons in the Abram's snorefest.
The Federation phasers (both Kelvin and Enterprise versions) looked completely gay....the flipping barrel was stupid and they sounded more like a family of squirrels being raped than an energy pistol.
The Romulan weapons were at least one step above that but looking cool and sounding limp....not a good combination in anybodies book. The rifle had "wires" all over the thing like it was a "ship in a bottle". Always a good tactical consideration to ensure that your weapon will snag on just about everything it gets close to.
The "wireless" version of this rifle can be found on the previous page of this thread.
(Way to go J.J. you bloody pogue!)
As for the Romulan Disruptor Pistol, thanks to the directors lack of commonsence, the biggest firefight of the movie happened in the dark, on a set with backgrounds so confusing, that absolutely no one could make heads or tails of what was actually happening until everybody stopped moving.

J.J. Abrams (to the studio): "No, it'll be great....we won't have to spend money on expensive props, we can use the exact same two extras getting shot over and over again and if we play it fast enough, nobody will realize that we didn't put any effort into making it at all and that we did it all on a turntable set!"
Studio Execs: "But what about backdrops and effects?"
J.J. Abrams: "Screw the special effects....we'll shoot it all in the dark and keep the effects to clutter up non-essential character interactions."
Studio Execs: "So, we only use special effects to confuse the audience?.....genius....pure genius!"

Without further adieu....The Romulan Disruptor Pistol.
I hope y'all find use for it.
Best Regards from the Eric Bana's ego.

Yub-Yub,

Thought I would bring a bit of "Saga" your way, courtesy of The RPF.
A wonderful prop from a talented person.
I don't know if they are from the 501st but a similar rifle I found there will be posted a little later on.
Just something for when the E-11 begins to feel a little anemic!
Hope y'all find use for it.

Noba,

As promised....another Heavy Blaster Rifle from the propmasters of The RPF. This has been carried by members of the 501st on a few occasions. I remember seeing it 2 or 3 years ago in some pics showing off their Stormtrooper armor at a convention and wondered why I could never find a pic of just the rifle. Looks like it was built off an old M-16 or M-4 but it could have been a Stoner or an Armalite. Well, the jpeg gods were smiling upon me last night and now, I present one REALLY bad@$$ rifle.
(I'd hate to be on the business end of this brute!)
Hope y'all find use for it.
Best Regards from The 501st.

Heippa,

Just enjoying the afternoon....sipping my coffee....reading the headlines on Drudge and thought I would drop by and post another weapon.
I meant to include this one in my previous HALO post but couldn't find the picture at the time. The Covenant Needler Rifle....always liked the design.
Hope y'all find use for it.

Salut,

So, I came across a few more HALO weapons and I will post them as they are completed. Can't say I ever played any of the games in the franchize but the hardware looks cool enough.
On the menu today we have a Combat Shotgun (short variant) and the M-247H Heavy Machine Gun.
Hope y'all find use for them.
Best Regards from the ODST.

Hope y'all find use for these.

Evening all,

Part 3 of the HALO extravaganza contines with the (and I hope I get this right) SRS-99D Anti-Material Rifle and the the first of a few BR-55 series battle rifles. A non-scoped SRS without the carrying handle and bipod will follow tomorrow with some more alternate MA-37's and BR-55 series rifles.
Hope y'all find use for them.
Best Regards from Master Chief.

Small Update. Been looking for this one for a while, glad to finally add it to the library. The Farscape (Peacekeeper) Heavy Pulse Pistol.

I will update this entry a bit a later on today.

Still frighteningly busy in GCA4.
Making headway but timely posts will difficult until I have completed "The Farscape Project".
I meant to have two for posting but alas, I have only one. I still have another half dozen MA series rifles to post before I move onto other tokens.
Hope you find use for this one.

Hilo,

Most gracious of you, sir.
(If only I could take the credit for them!)
A slight deviation from the normally scheduled program has occured. As a result, Part XI of the HALO posts will continue tomorrow.
Instead I have a ship for posting today.
Courtesy of Project Rho's image galleries, I would just like to tip my hat to Mr. Cheung....fantastic work.
What ship am I refering to?
A classic Trek ship. One that has managed to capture my imagination since the early 70's.
Wanna hint?
The Space Seed?
Ceti-Alpha Five?
Botany Bay?
Ring any Bells yet?
It could be none other than the Pre-Federation I.S.A. DY-100 Freighter.
I hope y'all give this one a good home.

Oooohh, Dude.....

The single thought that keeps me up at nights with the cold sweats is that J.J. Abrams is gonna frel with my "Khan". Rumor in the grapevine is he will!

Greetings Programs,

I was working on my Farscape Project when I realize I needed a token for a Peacekeeper Infiltration Operative.
I started to check my drive and tried a little surfing when I came across a pic of Rinzler from Tron Legacy.
(Terrible movie btw)
It had one leg out of position for decent top down status and then there was the matter of the Discs. I figured I could wait to see if the Daz3d weekly freebie might be of assistance but ultimately I lost patience and put the pic throught Paint.NET to see what would result. It's not that bad....see what you think?
Hope y'all find use for him.

Buenos Dias,

I was going to try and post another MA series rifle but to be honest, the remaining 2 or 3 pretty much look identical to those already posted save a few minor details. There wouldn't be much reason to.
Instead as a substitute, we switch to Killzone weaponry.
In this case, the Helghast Sta-14 Battle Rifle.
I should have a few more to post over the next couple of days.
Hope y'all find use for it.
Best Regards from the Heart of the Liberation.

What's goin' down,

I am looking into it now.
I had a few current weapons I was going to consider adding to "A Gun for All Seasons" once the Killzone pics ran out (basically more Firefly/Serenity firearms) but your suggestion intrigues me as I have never tried any of the Fallout franchize of games.
Hopefully you should see some here in a few days.
I have been very busy lately so unfortunately, I have nothing to post at present but I should have something up here by morning....so, don't change that dial!
As a sidenote, has anyone else noticed that views on this thread have really jumped in the last week or is it just me? I am beginning to think people are starting to paying attention. =)

Bom Dias,

As promised (and ahead of schedule) I present for your gaming leisure: The Killzone Helghast VC-32 Sniper Rifle.
Basically, it's just an Sta-14 with a scope.
I have always liked the cloaked/invisible sniper concept since BF2142 was released.
Just looking at the images available almost makes me want to buy the game just to see how the storyline of the individual releases and overall metaplot of the franchize are integrated.
Hope y'all find use for this one.
Best Regards from Helghan Orbit.

Evening all,

Another Killzone weapon submitted for approval. In this case the Helghast Sta-11 SMG. Sure it's just a Bizon 9x18mm Makarov knock-off but it's certainly ergonomic in design and seems to incorperate elements of the IMI Uzi as well.
Hope y'all find use for it.
Best Regards from the I.S.A.

Evening again,

Daz3d's weekly freebie is out again and this time its cryo chambres....Walt Disney sold separately.
There is also the matter of the weekly freebie before that, superhero training gear. The overheads really don't do the models justice but they ARE very spacey looking....as in "outer" and not, let's say, "Kevin".
Hope y'all find use for them.
Best Regards from the "Monkey with a Keyboard".

Neato! The spikey walls on hydraulic pistons could make for interesting booby traps in high-tech dungeons as well.

Top o' the mornin' to ya,

A brief update to the retro Cryo Chambres post.
In this instance, the reclining version of said token as well as the reclined & open version.
After a brief test I can say the open chambre I am putting up and another members "Clouds/Smoke" tokens I saw just recently make a knock out combination in my opinion.
I may add a "Somebodies in There" version but I am still undecided.
Hope you find use for them.
Best Regards from the freezer section.

Hmm. I like this, but I wish there was a way to have the
glass as a separate object so that I could put my own
monster/person/etc in the bed.

Bonjour,

Happy to be of assistance, sir.
The glass on the model was "separate" from the main model but was an aspect of the chambre that could not be deleted. Every attempt I made to remove it in Daz3d resulted in vaping the entire chambre. Instead I adjusted the glass's size and scale properties until it repositioned outside the chambre itself, as small as I could make it, and then removed the bit in Paint.NET with ease.
Have a great day good sir.

Thank you very much.

Also, I managed to cut out the glass and set it transparent enough that people can stamp it on top of the open cryo chamber if they want.

Evening,

Thought I would pop in to leave another I.S.A. token.
In this case, their M-3 Revolver. I'm sure there's a whole mountain of information on it as any who have played the game can tell you but I would not be one of those. My Killzone experience is limited to a few Youtube cutscenes and that's about it.
It IS a big freakin' gun!
Hope y'all find use for it.

Buenos Dias,

Due to a Windows 7 corruption, my maptools campaign files have been lost. This unfortunately eradicates my Farscape campaign after 4 months of work. Well you can't keep a good gamer down and I was still looking for decent Hardsuit pics for tokens in my next game.
Bubblegum Crisis is going to be the focal point of the next adventure and I was still looking for decent images when I came across a mod for UT3 made by a talented artist named kobra. Kudos, sir!
I should be able to post the remaining 3 Knight Sabres this week. Perhaps next week I can do the "fallen/dead" versions if the ragdoll effects looks realistic enough.
The post below this one should be corrected as well by tonight.
Hope you all find use for it.
Best Regards from Knight Sabres.

Salut,

I am considerably ahead of my initial posting estimate and thought i would take the time to post the third of four Hard Suit Tokens of the Knight Sabres. I should have Sylia up tonight (or within the hour....I'm not sure yet!) with some "fallen" Sabres tomorrow.

Hola,

Here you go....the final of the four Knight Sabres.
I can't thank kobra enough for being such a fan of the BGC series. This makes my game almost complete with respect to tokens. Except for a Motoslave, perhaps The Knight Wing and some "fallen" Sabres, my job is almost done.
Hope you find use for this one.

I was getting some good screencaps when I discovered this little gem. For my next campaign I intend to use it as a male Hard Suit variant for the players who decide to go that route.

Wiki-Wiki,

The fallen "Knights" poses will have to be put on the backburner for now. Instead, I have a Chinese carrier to post in their place that I needed for my new BGC game. I will only post the smaller "token" version instead of the MUCH larger "map" version as I still have no clue how to zip up anything aside from my own trousers.
Credit goes to the very talented individual who created this lil' beauty as I remain faithfully, a monkey with a keyboard that has far too much free time on his hands.
(It'll look fantastic once it's been dressed up with some Flankers, Berkuts and perhaps a Hind-E as no one has, as of yet, posted a token of a Q-5 Chengduj!)
Hope y'all find use for it.
Best Regards from the crew of The Shoko.

Moshi-Moshi,

I have FINALLY found a decent pic of a Chengdu J-20 to turn into a token. I had refered to it as a Q-5 previously but this is apparently a totally different craft. Alright, its a B&W pic but since the only colors on it were the nationality markings and canopy it's no big loss.
The fusilage color is pretty much dead-on anyways.
At least now my carrier will have accurate aircraft on its decks. Credit to the artist.
(This token has now been removed from the post as PB's below is MUCH nicer!)
As an extra added bonus, I bring you a pair of Ace Combat 6 X-Craft just in case the J-20 I posted needs to be shot down. For your gaming pleasure, it's the ADF-01 Falken and the ADFX-02.
I hope y'all find use for these.

The Peoples Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) now has a 60,000-ton, 300m-long, Ukrainian hulled aircraft-carrier.

"Since 1985, China has acquired four retired aircraft carriers for study, the Australian HMAS Melbourne
and the ex-Soviet carriers Minsk, Kiev and Varyag." [Wiki.]

BUT ALSO.......

...the worlds first Aircraft Carrier IN A POND, FOR KIDS...

Orient Green Boat After-School Camp for Youngsters.

Yes, while Imperialist Yankee Running Dogs waste their resources on butter, burgers and Disney, the glorious
Peoples Republic Of China has so many US debt dollars that it can also build an aircraft carrier FOR IT'S CHILDREN TO PLAY WITH.

Original...
Original link ...here...

...and here,,,

Satellite view - See Google maps 31.10, 121.01.
Also shows the full size warplanes and submarine, presumably for the younger kids.

Located about one hour west of Shanghai, the camp was constructed at the shores of Dianshan Lake. It covers
360 hectares, and had 8 major areas: Knowledge Boulevard; Bravery and Wisdom; Education on National
Defense; Challenge to Survival; Scientific Exploration; Water Sports; Sports Training; and Practice in Living.
The adjoining 5000-hectare campsite and village features a Global Village, with accommodation for 4,000 students
in a series of hostels, cabins, and campsites themed to reflect the experience of being in 36 different countries.
Sports facilities, a golf course, parasailing, windsurfing, a simulated gun range, rides in amphibious
military vehicles, museum displays, video games, aircraft, replica spacecraft, ICBMs, and a park with
statues of over 160 world-famous people are also included.

!!!Sounds Fun!!!

O haio,

Heheheh...."carriers for kids"....kinda like "psychopaths for peace".
(Nice find PB-San!)
So, I am plugging away on my BGC game in maptools and I suddenly realize I have forgotten to include a Motoslave/Motoroid token.
I have surfed the net since the early 90's and in all that time I have never come across a decent pic to use.
Not to be discouraged, I then started to go through the BGC animated series in the hopes of finding one.
You would figure between Crisis, Crash and 2040....there would be SOMETHING usable in there.
Turns out there was.
Although I watched the entire series over the course of 3-4 days, the best pic to be acquired was in the very FIRST episode. I DID see in the first place it but hoped I could find a better one.
This was not to be.
The screencap in question was incomplete and so I had to reconstruct the left side VTOL thruster and while it is still "tinted" by the engine glow, it's far from useless.
Any true BGC fan will probably acknowledge that this is the only (free?) Motoroid token on the net at present and I am certainly content with the results of my efforts.
For your gaming pleasure, I present to you the Hurricane MK I Motoslave.
Hope y'all find use for it.
Best Regards from Sylia Stingray.

Oel ngati kameie,

(Translation: I see you, happily.)

As you may have already guessed, todays post comes from the JC movie Avatar. I was in need of an advanced looking helo unit for non-ADP attack elements in my upcoming game set in my own hybrid Car Wars/Bubblegum Crisis world.
As (almost) always, my salvation came from the realm of models and props. Thanks to this talented modeller (whos name I forget), I now have an Aerospatiale SA-2 Samson Gunship to add to my token libraries.
(Banshee not included....some assembly required)
I hope y'all find use for it.

Hey there,

I appologize for not getting to this earlier Servo. My data loss from Win7 left me in a "creative limbo" for a while but I have regained my wits about me and are back on track again. This first one is for you, sir.
Courtesy of a talented RPF member by the name of jm419, I bring you the Fallout Sniper Rifle. I have never played any of the series so I have no game stats or raw data on this weapon at all but I am pretty sure this won't distract from the final product.
It should have been posted in "A gun for all seasons" but I figured it would be better to post it to the same thread as the request.
I hope y'all find use for it.

Woot! No worries, I had actually forgotten I had asked that question in the first place. Thanks for doing this!

BTW, if you're looking for more weapons I've since discovered the "Nuka-pedia" Fallout Wiki (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_Wiki). The weapons from Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas are presented in good side views perfect for posting.

Incidentally, the K9000 Cyberdog Gun is odd-looking but a lot of fun to carry around.

Hey there folks,

I thought I would drop by to throw another "token onna li-bery".
PB-San's J-20 (from the previous page) needs an EU counterpart added to the mix.
In this case, it would mean the YF-23.
I always like the YF-23's design better than the Raptor or it's naval VTOL counterpart (the YF-35 is it?).
Regardless 5th-6th generation aircraft look more at home in a sci-fi nightmare than our own skies. We won't see many more piloted craft being built in our lifetimes. These planes are now too expensive to trust to human operators and unlike computers....human pilots have a nasty habit of ACTUALLY questioning illegal orders.
The Pentagon ABSOLUTELY HATES THIS!!!
This is why most (if not all military) advanced aircraft and even helos will be drones from now on....just so Dick Cheney (and people like him) can be around the troops without having to disarm them all as a precautionary measure to prevent his twisted, transhumanist, 9-11 false flagging, zombie-pulseless-@$$ from getting the well-deserved fragging he needs!
Unlike the US military....(or any other for that matter)....I hope y'all find good use for this one.
Best Regards from the Grey Ghost.

You mean like this unmanned chap, the Northrop Grumman X-47B UCAS-D:

Personnal Use Only.
Original from ...HERE... (scroll down).

Wrong! Pilots obey orders. For example, when fatigued, legally they can refuse to fly, but as that would
end their careers, they bravely see the Doctor and get go / no-go pills, meaning they get amped on Bennies.

As we are also in a War On Drugs, just ensure you call the amphetamines "Dexedrine" and not speed, amps, Black Mollys,
cross-tops, rippers, snap, or the likes.

After too many uppers, peaches and berries, the Air Force recommends the sleeping pills Sonata, Ambien and Restoril.
E.g. 1 and E.g. 2.

Fly High!

!!! Order now and get a free balloon !!!

Personnal Use Only.

Hehehehe,

So, if I get this straight now....they'll let them take drugs to go into combat but if they drink Diet Coke....THEY GET GROUNDED!?!
Amphetamines are okay but whatever you do....DON'T GIVE THEM ASPARTAME!?!?!?!
Now you know which one is more toxic at any rate!
BWA-HAHAH-HAHAHA-HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Another Drone, but note:

> Drones do not shoot down airplanes.
> Fighters have shot down drones. ...Video...
Therefore you can't invade Iran (which has fighters) unless you have manned fighters to protect them. You
also need glamorous pilots for prestige, or else the Air Force will only be open to spotty drone-flying Corporals
using joysticks based in America. Who may or may not use Diet Coke and amphetamines.

Especially when since 2011 the Iranians have your latest Lockheed Martin RQ-170 Sentinel, along with all
its' latest technology. Apparently they just shouted at it over the radio (Irans' version of Electronic Warfare).

Add your own Iranian / Chinese / American markings as you see fit. From Global Security HERE...

But Wait.... On 13 December 2011, Barack Obama stated in a press conference that his administration has
delivered a "formal request to Iran to return the captured RQ-170".
But Oh No.... Irans Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi asserted "the downed spy drone is now Iran's property,
and our country will decide what steps to take about it," meaning they will sell it to the Chinese.

So...
A = Obama is a complete ****wit.
B = The Future Is Red.

Note: Aspartame is not banned yet.

However, the Monsanto (Nutrasweet) patent on Aspartame ended a while ago, so there is currently competition
in the Aspartame market. So banning Aspartame in favour of some new, patented equivalent would wipe out the
competing market. Monsanto has now unveilled its repacement, patented Neotame (E-961), fully approved
around the world.

Please help Monsanto by having Aspartame banned.

Rejoice that thousands of anti-drug hippies are really just putting Monsanto back into a monopoly position! You just gotta admire that level of manipulation, totally ace man, awesome marketting from the company that turned Indias' 30,000 seed varieties into 16, then sold them the required fertilisers....!

C = !!! All Hail The Corporations !!!

Put A, B and C together = It's A Bright New World Order. Enjoy your E-961.

Hola,

How could it possibly be conspiracy if it's true?

"Anti-Drug Hippies"?
Isn't that an oxymoron?

As for Donald Rumsfeld's Aspartame or any of its derivatives....you're probably better off being a meth addict!
Until then....both military and commercial airline pilots are not allowed to fly if they have been consuming any beverage with Uncle Donny's special "snake oil" prior to take off. I am not sure how much time is required before the excitotoxin is no longer in quantities that have a "disruptive" effect on the pilot's concentration.
Worse still....they are trying to petition the FDA so that they won't have to tell you it's in your food or drink!

(FDA = Freakin' Dumb A-Holes)

Bonus Homework Assignment: Try and find ANYTHING at the local convenience store that is supposed to be made with sugar that DOESN'T have Aspartame or Neotame in it!
(You'll probably give up on eating candy before you find one)

Stay Free....Stay True....and stay away from television...it's like "electronic aspartame"!

Preevyet tovarich,

Thanks to the efforts of Comrade PB, the Glorious Peoples Army stands poised to strike a deadly blow against the capitalist running dogs of the Soetoro regime.
Unfortunately, they are not entirely without defensive countermeasures. If we do not strike now, the Glorious Peoples Army may have to tolerate Justin Beiber or even worse Kanye West!

(Yo Russian. Imma happy for you and Imma let you finish but JoJo Levesque has the sweetest botty this side of Beyonce!)

To the Peoples Glorious Library I will now add another capitalist tool of destruction....no, NOT Rosie O'Donnell. I speak of the quite fictional Manta Stealth Fighter. Credit to the artist, who is out of contact due to being detained at a TSA checkpoint for "suspicious smiling".
Best of Luck in shooting it down.

Hello,

On the menu today is a little ditty from District 9.
Although it wasn't seen in the first movie its bigger brother definitely saw a lot of use.
I am not sure if it's titled correctly but if I read this right, it's called a Prawn Submachinegun.
I give thanks to the RPF for this find.
Hope y'all find use for it.

Mornin'

Today we have another Killzone weapon up for grabs....the I.S.A. M-4 Revolver:

The M4 Revolver is the standard-issue sidearm for the ISA Marines, and is the successor of the trusted M3 Revolver. It appears in both Killzone 2 and Killzone 3.

It can hold six .357 Magnum/9 x 33 R rounds, has iron sights, and has a double-action trigger. However, you cannot fan the hammer to fire faster. It was designed to be reloaded quickly in combat situations. Rather than replacing the bullets in the ammo cylinder one by one, the entire cylinder is removed and replaced with a loaded one, as a speed-loader system.

It is extremely powerful (especially at short range), but has a somewhat slow rate of fire for a pistol and a small ammo capacity - meaning that it is important to shoot very accurately when using this weapon. Because of these faults, some players swap the Revolver for the much faster StA18 Pistol during campaigns, when enemies are not as tough.

Take me to your leader....

(Oh, and nice one PB!)

So, I was toling around the internet when I came across this one. While one of the most memorable spaceships in movie history not much of a head's up was given to Lando's proprietorship of the Falcon in the prequels.
The Stellar Envoy was only seen on screen for a few seconds but it still managed to spur my imagination as the original had back in the 70's.
Much thanks and credit to the modeller who I am certain thanked Stefan Hacker for his assistance.

Constructed as unit YT 492727ZED in 60 BBY by the Corellian Engineering Corporation in their shipyards at Orbital Assembly Facility 7 as a YT-1300f light freighter, the Falcon existed in its stock state for several years. The ship was set apart from the others during an accident with a fuel droid on the assembly line, and the ship rocketed out of control, taking almost the entire assembly line with it. It took multiple Human workers to keep the ship under control. One commented that the ship was 'one in a million.' The first owners were the Corell Industries Limited shipping firm, who possessed the ship for twelve years. In that time, the ship which would be known in the future as the Falcon earned a reputation as being both remarkably swift and stubbornly unreliable. A string of temporary monikers bore witness to these traits; Corell's Pride, Fickle Flyer and Meetyl's Misery. Eventually, CI Limited went bankrupt and in 48 BBY, the YT was sold to Kal and Dova Brigger. The siblings used the newly rechristened Hardwired for various and increasingly illicit cargo runs, making the most significant early modification to the ship: an upgraded hyperdrive. Cularin's Smugglers' Confederation took notice, and after a broken deal, the Brigger siblings became targets of a bounty by Confederation leader Nirama. Dova was executed, but Kal survived to give the ship a new handle, Wayward Son, and a place in Iaco Stark's Commercial Combine. Kal met his fate at the Fifth Battle of Qotile, devoured by Challat eaters.

By 29 BBY, the vessel was both owned and used secretly by members of the Senate and Jedi, as part of an organization known as the Republic Group. Tobb Jadak and Reeze Duurmun became the primary crew of the ship known then as the Stellar Envoy for the next decade. In 19 BBY, the ship was present during the Battle of Coruscant, landing at the Republic Executive Building docking bay on Coruscant shortly after the shuttle that brought Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Supreme Chancellor Palpatine to safety after their crash landing in the nose of the Invisible Hand.

Shortly after this, the Stellar Envoy was hit by a bulk freighter over Nar Shaddaa, causing massive critical damage to the entire frame. What was left of the ship was interned in an orbital junkyard near the Smuggler's Moon. The ship rested there for approximately a year before it was purchased as scrap by an enterprising technician named Bammy Decree, with assistance from crime lord Rej Taunt. Under Decree's co-ownership, the Envoy was reconstructed from core to hull, and various systems were replaced with updated versions. Though the effort purportedly required a great deal of time and effort, the technician committed himself to finish the job as a test of skill, and also perhaps a labor of love. It was during this time that several sections of the ship were refitted with modular components from an old YT-1300p light freighter that had previously been used for diplomatic missions before meeting a similar fate.

Renamed the Second Chance, it served its new owners only briefly, performing a single botched smuggling attempt before languishing in Imperial impound at Nilash III for the next few years. It was then stolen by an opportunistic ship thief, one Zenn Bien, working with Rebel agents Quip Fargil and Luufkin. The Second Chance was briefly rechristened the Gone to Pieces during this operation, but when he began flying the ship for the Alliance, he rechristened her the Millennium Falcon, after the bat-falcon the name that the ship would carry through the remainder of the Galactic Civil War and on through the Second Galactic Civil War.

The Falcon was to be used in a Rebel strike at Bilbringi in 9 BBY, but Fargil had second thoughts and pulled out of the operation, taking the Falcon with him. Unable to live with his guilt, he donated her to Doctor Parlay Thorp. After spending several years on Hijado with Thorp, the Falcon was sold to Molpol's Traveling Circus, and was the collateral of at least a few wagers before coming into the hands of a young Lando Calrissian. The ship's identiplate was removed during this time to facilitate its new career in smuggling by one such owner, and each also added their own "special modifications" so that, by the time it came into the hands of Lando, it was already able to out fly almost any vessel of its size.

I see you once more,

We have another Avatar goodie for this evening.
I posted the Aerospatiale Samson a while back but what I had been REALLY looking for (before settling for the SA-2) was the massive gunship used by Miles Quaritch....the C-21 Dragon. This is the only decent pic I have found of it but for my purposes it should do the trick.

The C-21 a.k.a. Dragon Assault Ship (Na'vi name: Kunsip apxa meaning "large gunship") is a quad-rotor VTOL heavy transport and assault craft used by the RDA for full-scale military operations against the Na'vi, or as support during small incursions into otherwise hostile territory teeming with vicious megafauna and flora. It is the RDA's most powerful non-nuclear weapon on Pandora, coupled with heavy armor, devastating firepower and a large cargo bay for additional room for cargo or forces, making the C-21 Dragon Assault Ship a fully-functional, multi-purpose airship. The RDA only had one operational Dragon at the time of the film, though there was a second Dragon airframe on Pandora, but most of the main components hadn't arrived from Earth. Quaritch coordinated the RDA's assault on the Omaticaya Hometree and the attack on the Tree of Souls from the Dragon Gunship.
Compared to both the SA-2 Samson and AT-99 Scorpion, the C-21 Dragon is significantly larger, slower, and less maneuverable. However, with its panoply of heavy machine guns, dozens of rocket and missile pods, and possible complement of door-gunners, it can function as an excellent lead gunship when mainline Scorpions are not around or available. To prevent potentially catastrophic friendly-fire incidents resulting from careless use of such firepower, all but the door guns are constrained by friendly fire IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) avoidance codes for safety. Otherwise, it acts mainly as a military air transport and air assault vehicle, utilizing its ability to land numerous AMP suits, infantry and other military vehicles across Pandora. Its roles include acting as capital ship/flagship, assault/attack, defense and transportation/carrier. In essence, the Dragon is the military workhorse of the RDA.
The Dragon Assault Ship has the ability to deploy many infantry units and AMP suits at once and is armed with a variety of medium automatic guns, Air-to-Ground and Air-to-Air missiles, incendiary rockets, gas canister launchers, grenade launchers, plus two dual and two quad automatic gatling gun systems. All gun and missile systems are constrained by Friendly Fire Avoidance Codes (IFF Lockout). The Air-To-Ground missiles and rocket pods are mounted on three huge stub pylons at each side, which are all in a symmetrical set.
Before Pandora was first discovered, the Dragon was, and still is being used in massed offensives against environmental terrorists and other insurgents on Earth to predictably devastating effect. It was usually used in only the most brutal combat zones, where it leveled major enemy installations with ease before deploying its troop and vehicles onto the ground to proceed with the ground advance in earnest. This earned the Dragon's formidable reputation for being able to inflict 100% enemy casualties in any zone it was deployed to.
Later modifications were made which replaced the standard forward missile launchers with remotely manned gun-turrets around various points of the ship, allowing it to defend itself from any close-range targets. Additional modifications include the hardening of the ship's electronic systems, to further protect it from both fierce electromagnetic storms on Pandora, and the constant electronic warfare attacks from terrorists on Earth.
Its standard propulsion system has also been modified, granting it much more forward velocity. The Dragon's original system relied solely on its four rotors for speed, which made it very maneuverable, but unsurprisingly slow. However, jet thrusters have now been added alongside its original four rotors to allow for much higher velocities while moving forward, while maintaining its impressive maneuverability.
A Dragon participated in the attack on the Hometree and later in the final battle of the film. Both times, it served as Colonel Quaritch's command ship. It was destroyed when Jake Sully landed on the ship from his great leonopteryx, detonated two grenades on the top of the hull, and after falling to a lower position, grabbed one of the Dragon's mounted missiles, and threw it into one of the rotors. The resulting explosion made the Dragon spin out of control and explode soon after, though Quaritch managed to escape in his personal AMP suit.
Several Dragons appear in Avatar: The Game. First a Dragon appears in Blue Lagoon, where it bombs a Na'vi reservation. Next on the Na'vi side it appears after Dr. Harper returns with Ryder and his link chambers, and its rotors are destroyed causing it to crash. Two more arrive and destroy the link chambers. They appear frequently throughout the game on the Na'vi side. A Dragon appears under the command of Karl Falco in the end, but it is hit by an EMP blast from the Tree of Souls, causing it to crash.
It appears on the RDA side as well, but less frequently, only appearing at Blue Lagoon, then several times in Tantalus, and the Plains of Goliath, after being given to the player by Quaritch. It replaces the great leonopteryx as the last vehicle of the game. Some crashed wrecks of Dragons can also be seen in the Needle Hills stage, in an area known as Dragon's Graveyard.
With maximum payload, the Dragon is said to be able to destroy an area the size of Manhattan in six seconds.

So, I have posted many weapons from the Avatar movie....some in this thread and some in "A Gun for all Seasons". I have also posted an Aerospatiale SA-2 Samson and the grand daddy of gunships in 2129, the C-21 Dragon Assault Ship.
Toy with a few Daz3d Herd Beasts and the fauna of the distant moon will come to life on your VTT.
While this may have made many gamers happy, I am sure there are some of you out there that are in need of some Na'vi support to complete their gaming experience.
To the list of Avatar tokens posted so far, nothing says Pandora like a Leonoptryx or it's bigger brother, the Great Leonoptryx. While I am pretty sure the Great Leonoptryx was an "official" image I must thank a deviant artist (named Techta) for producing a beautiful image of it's smaller counterpart.
Unfortunately the smaller one is actually the larger token, I am sure altering the size in Maptools won't be a problem for any of you serious gamers out there. Altering the token dimiensions would have been a simple fix but that would have degraded the image quality and I HATE that!
So, without further adieu I present the Leonoptryx family.

Mountain banshees (Na'vi name: ikran) are large, bird-like aerial predators that are native to Pandora. They are used by the Na'vi for hunting from the air and traveling larger distances. Ikran are also used in battle, where the mount attacks its opponents from the air.
Bonding with a banshee and becoming an Ikran Makto is a dangerous and required rite of passage for Na'vi warriors in some clans, including the Omaticaya. Like the direhorse, a Na'vi can connect to a banshee through a neural interface that allows animal and rider to move with apparent effortlessness through the skies. Unlike the direhorse, however, the banshee will only bond with one Na'vi in its lifetime. It is unknown whether the banshee or its rider can bond with a new partner should the previous one die, as is the case with Neytiri's mount Seze having been killed during the Assault on the Tree of Souls.
In Na'vi culture, taming a banshee is a test every young hunter has to pass.
The mountain banshee rookery is high in the Hallelujah Mountains. The largest rookery, which features the largest specimens (and therefore the best to tame for riding), is in grottoes and outcrops on the sheer cliff faces of Mons Veritatis, one of the largest of the floating mountains. It is here that the Na'vi come to select (and be selected by) a banshee for domestication. The bonded mountain banshees nest in the highest branches of Hometree, where they can be close at hand for their Na'vi rider.
The mountain banshee (like its smaller cousin, the forest banshee) is highly adapted for flight. Specially developed muscles attached to the breastbone allow for the powerful strokes needed to achieve lift. Xenobiologists continue to study the aerodynamics of the banshee. It is believed that all of Pandora's flying animals take advantage of gravity that is lower than Earth's and the increased air density, (which requires more force to displace with the downward/rearward stroke of their wings, and thus gives the animal's body more impetus with each flap). The downside is that the denser air is harder to move through, and requires highly-efficient streamlining to achieve high flight speeds.
Though reptilian in appearance, the banshee has a metabolism that is bird-like, and generates tremendous heat. The banshee has a complex cooling system to keep it from overheating during strenuous flying. The breathing system is central to this cooling. The air inlets, or spiracles, face forward at the front of the chest cavity, like the engine intakes of a jet fighter. Induction of air is controlled by a cartilaginous operculum, or flap-valve. The banshee lung is a bellows like structure, inflated by rib movement, but unlike the lungs of terrestrial animals, it has unidirectional flow, venting aft through gill-like slits.
The banshee has two primary eyes which see in full color in roughly the same spectrum as human vision. Aft of the primary eyes are smaller secondary eyes, which can move independently or together with the primaries. They see in near infrared, for night hunting. Additionally, banshees are also highly sensitive to motion, and act as an early warning system against attack from the rear. All four eyes are protected by lids and by transparent nictating membranes, much like an eagle eye. Forward of the primary eyes are lines of sensor pits. These are thought to provide airflow information in flight, like a pitot tube on an airplane. Another hypothesis is that they are sensitive to sound, and have an echolocation role, by sensing the reflected sound of the banshee shrieks. It is advised to never look directly into an ikran's eyes, though it is not explained what happens if you do. Most likely, it induces panic or anger in the ikran.
Like many of Pandora's creatures, the banshee also has a remarkably strong cell structure. This structure, which is a biologically produced carbon-fiber, makes their bones much lighter and stronger than any organic Terran equivalent. This in turn allows them to generate more power and lift with every flap, power which is necessary in the dense atmosphere of Pandora. The biochemistry of their muscle tissue allows them to generate nearly twice the force per pound of muscle as terrestrial flying animals such as bats and birds. This, again, generates tremendous metabolic heat. The hollow bones are connected to the bellows-like lung, and cooling air moves through the long bones of the fore and aft wings.
They have only vestigial legs (unlike their cousin the great leonopteryx) which might suggest a life mainly in flight, only landing to feed their young. It also suggests that prey will be smaller airborne creatures or possibly creatures perched high in the trees as they could not grab on to something while in flight, as seen in Earth eagles.
The wings have a claw or finger that is used to cling on to cliffs and to "walk" on flat ground, possibly by dragging the body forward or more likely maintaining center gravity over the wings. All in all, they are not as agile on the ground as in the air.
Their leathery skin has a wide range of complex color schemes. Some banshees have been seen which display only two colors. Since the color concentration is mainly on the back of the animals, it is assumed that the colors are for mating display. Both male and females display these complex patterns of colors.

The great leonopteryx (Na'vi name: toruk meaning "last shadow") is a species of airborne predatory animals native to Pandora. Scientifically, it is known as Leonopteryx rex "flying king lion" (from the Greek word leon meaning lion, pteryx meaning wing, and the Latin word rex, meaning king).
The fierce beauty and nobility of the leonopteryx gave the species a central place in Na'vi lore and culture. It is celebrated in dance, song, and with elaborate totems that symbolize both the fear and respect given to the creature. Indeed, the leonopteryx is crucial to the Na'vi's sense of destiny and interconnectedness. This creature's name in Na'vi translates roughly to "last shadow", as its preferred method of attack is from above. Therefore, the last thing its prey sees is its shadow. The leonopteryx is carnivorous, feeding on mainly mountain and forest banshees, and occasionally on medusae. Under the rainforest canopy, the leonopteryx will sometimes feed on ground animals such as hexapedes. It is a solitary creature and has no known predators
The leonopteryx is closely related to the banshee, with many similarities and differences. The leonopteryx is primarily colored red and yellow, with black stripes and blue crests on the top of the head and under its lower jaw, though the crests can be albinistic or green. The crest on its head is razor sharp and can be used to injure or disembowel prey, or cut vegetation obstructing flight. The leonopteryx also has a large brain cavity, flexible, membranous wings stretched taut over a carbon fiber bone structure, powerful talons for grasping prey and perching, twin tails for flight control, flow-through ventilation for high performance, and large hooked claws. The leonopteryx has powerful jaws which can open at a wide angle, capable of cleaving a mountain banshee in half. Despite their superior binocular vision, they are unable to see directly above them, most likely due to the very pronounced brow ridges above their eyes. Being the apex aerial predator of Pandora, this is not a problem for the leonopteryx, as it has no need to watch for attackers. However, this weakness is exploited by Jake Sully, who jumps from his banshee from above the unaware leonopteryx and tames it through tsaheylu.
The wingspan of the leonopteryx is more than 25 meters (7580 ft.). It can even exceed 30 meters. Its wings are composed of individual finned members that can separate to act as a slotted airfoil, or overlap and seal to form a solid surface. When separated, they can rotate individually to induce or retard vortex formation. These finned members are not unlike the primary feathers of many terran birds. The fiber composite bones help the animal to achieve flight through the dense Pandoran atmosphere, as with other flying animals of Pandora. Unlike its smaller cousins, the banshees, its legs are not vestigial and are a key part of its anatomy, as they are used for grabbing prey while diving or to provide a stronger kick while taking off. The leonopteryx has four large golden eyes with black pupils. Two of its main eyes are in the front of the skull, and the two others are located near the rectangular antenna bases. Due to its size, the leonopteryx would not be a dense jungle hunter like banshees, but would have very little trouble on the plains or near cliffs or mountains, where it could feed on mid-sized animals or banshees.
The leonopteryx are difficult to locate. This fact is exacerbated by the associated risk with trying to locate the resting place of such a massive, dangerous animal. However, some have been sighted in the Hallelujah Mountains. Members of the species mate for life and breed once every two years. Primarily, the great leonopteryx travels alone and occasionally in pairs. However, unlike the mountain banshee, they have never been observed in a swarm, or other high concentration.

Quotes taken from wikia.

I hope y'all find use for these two.
Best Regards from the Hallelujah Mountains.

Evening folks,

So, I am searching the web for decent pics to turn into tokens from the latest of the Alien series. Originally I was looking for images of the USCCS Promethius but instead turned up a Trek vessel instead.
I was never a big fan of any of the Trek tv franchize except the original series from the sixties but I believe this ship was created for the Voyager series. Aside from that I have no clue about what it does or what any of it's specs are but it's a cool looking ship so let's run it up the flagpole and see what shakes out.
It's a wonderful render....wish I could recall where I found it.
I hope y'all find use for this one.
Best Regards from the Delta Quadrent.

Hey,

I hadda come back for this if for no other reason than I wanted to be the one to make the "Got Hawk?" threads bicentennial post.
For the 200th, we have one more Trek ship to add to the libraries. In this case the Defiant.
Once more, my knowledge on Trek ships in limited in the same way that a devout Muslim knows nothing of porno films from the San Fernando Valley in the 70's.
Still it's a wonderful token and a beautiful render. Kudos to the creator whoever and where ever he may be.
(Happy 200th!)
Hope y'all find use for it.
Best Regards from Deep Space Nine.

So san,

Such were my thoughts as well sir.
I thought before I log off I would post one more ship.
In this case the subject at hand shall be Mass Effect.
(Gotta love Sci-Fi Meshes!)
I never played the any of the games in the franchize but the Normandy SR-1 was a nice looking ship.

The SSV Normandy SR-1 (Systems Alliance Space Vehicle Stealth Reconnaissance 1) was a Systems Alliance starship. She is a prototype "deep scout" frigate, first of the eponymous Normandy class, co-developed by the Alliance and the Turian Hierarchy with the sponsorship of the Citadel Council. She is optimized for solo reconnaissance missions deep within unstable regions, using state-of-the-art stealth technology powered by an experimental drive core.
Commissioned in 2183, the Normandy was initially captained by David Anderson, however, she was handed over to Commander Shepard when the commander became the first human Spectre, serving as Shepard's main source of transportation and base of operations.

I had done up a few tomahawks for a game that fell through and forgot to post them. My thanks to a very talented artist from 1/6th Warriors that gave Stone and Mee-Chan a unique choice of weaponry.
Hope y'all find use for them.

Kwai,

So, I was surfing the Sci-Fi Meshes forum when I stumbled upon a few posts in Fractalsponges Star Wars thread.
Apparently, Lucasarts has been using Ansel's artwork for official projects such as their customizable card game, videogame cutscenes and magazine layouts without his permission. I wondered how this could be possible.
Most of Ansel's work is now considered to be in the public domain, hence Lucas' greenlight for using his work in their products without his expressed say so.
This is pretty sad that Georgie-Boy has to rip off talented artists like Ansel....someone who (for all intent and purposes) should be considered part of the leading edge of a new generation of Ralph MacQuarries.
The only good news in all this is that I can now post my All-Fractalsponge I.S.D. fleet without fear of copyright infringement....but I still can't get over what a greedy larcenous pig Lucas is.
I (for one) thank Ansel for his work and dedication and I am fairly certain someone with his skills will not need to wait long before being snapped up by a SPFX company.
Until then, here are a few Imperial Star Destroyers for your fleet.
Hope y'all find use for them.
Best Regards from Kuat Drive Yards.

Evening all,

Went dumpster diving into the hard drive today and came up with more Daz3d "buried treasure". This time in the form of a Goon I created for a defunct sci-fi game I ran.
I added a few weapons here and there but he's really a pretty "basic" creation.
Hope y'all find use for them.

Greetings agains,

I didn't, until just now (while desperately searching for something to add after "Stay Free....Stay True...." at the end of the last post!) realize it was the 4th today.
Just posting some nameless "Goon" didn't seem like enough on a day like this and I thought I needed to add more. Nothing says "more" in my mind than:

"Mongo the Sail Barge Guard"

He Big!
He wears Black!
(Did I mention he's REALLY, REALLY Big?)
Well, he's BACK but for a limited time only.
At one time almost thought to be extinct after taking a nasty fall at The Great Pit of Carkoon....BUT we spared no expense, retrieved the half-digested remains and CLONED him like the idiots in that TERRIBLE movie called "The Spirit".
A WHOLE army of Mongo, right at your gaming fingertips....just what every GM wanted, and NO reposts....it's ALL new, ALL Mongo, ALL FREAKIN' DAY!!!
(For another 44 minutes....offer void where prohibited.)
Hope y'all find good use for him!
Best Regards from "The Planet that's farthest From".

(For Personal Use Only)

Update: Also found on my drive....a group of teen "malcontents" for a Conspiracy game I tried to start that didn't pan out. I thought of em like "Scooby-Doo" without the dog or girls.
In truth I believe all I did was tweak the "Age" of some existing models I had made and maybe changed a shirt here or there.

Morning all,

Time for a little Republic goodness from a very talented model maker who (as near as I can tell) scratch-built the ENTIRE vessal. I already had a Venator token but it was originally from a "modeller-converted" toy. The original of this one is nothing but breathtaking to see.
Fully lit and in ISD hull colors, she's a welcome addition to any fleet.
(Gotta love those modellers!)
Hope y'all find use for it.

UTINNI!!!

Today we have an new version on an old token I posted from a galaxy far, far away.
As far as RotJ goes, this was my favorite Mon Cal design in the movie. Those of you who played flight-sim "Alliance" probably call it "The Liberty" but the fanboys out there refer to her as an MC-80 Pearly-Winged Class Starcruiser.

Much gratitude to a very talented modeller at Modeler's Miniatures and Magic. According to the creators post, this (unlike the Venator just above this post) was not a scratch-built but instead an "Anigrand" kit that was individually customized and even sports full lighting.

(WE'RE NOT WORTHY, WE'RE NOT WORTHY....)

Like most Mon Calamari designs, each vessel was individually unique, which was frustrating for Rebel technicians. As with other Calamari designs during the Galactic Civil War, all warships in this group were standardized as much as possible to aid non-Calamari crewmembers, something the artistic Mon Calamari accepted begrudgingly.

A common variant of the MC80 Star Cruiser line was exemplified by the cruiser Liberty. It had an array of nine engines, divided into three different sizes, located at the stern. A large wing-shaped superstructure was affixed to the main hull on either side, containing weapons pods and tractor beam arrays. Some MC80 cruisers had their wing sections shortened and were equipped with an additional thruster.

Blisters filled with turbolaser cannons, deflector shield projectors, tractor beam projectors and Ion Cannons were scattered throughout each vessel, many of which were located on the wing structures. The Turbolasers and the Ion cannons possessed advanced targeting systems and were able to track and destroy fighters and smaller craft.

While their armaments, which varied from ship to ship, were less than those found on the Galactic Empire's mile-long Star Destroyers, their shielding capability was far more advanced. The multiple backup shields and multiple shield generators ensured that a Calamarian cruiser could not only last in combat against more heavily armed opponents but also they had more protection from spacial elemental threats.

On Liberty type cruisers, the primary sensor array was located on the ventral side of the ship. On ships that did not have the wing shaped structures, an additional thruster replaced the sensor array.

(Quote taken from wikia)

Hope y'all find a good home for her.
Best Regards from The Alliance.

Greetings,

Today we have an Alien franchize goodie in the form of a pretty epic ship that is easily the most unique craft design yet seen by man by none other than H.R. Giger himself. Of course I refer to the craft originally identified as "The Space Trucker's Ship" but established by Prometheus as an "Engineer Transport". Regardless of its unorthodox lines and mind-boggling hull design, I am pretty sure someone out there will scoop it up.
Hope y'all find use for it.
Best Regards from LV-426.
