I am installing Dundjinni onto my new system, which uses windows 7 64 bit. I put the installer dll in the windows directory. Now when I run the updates, it gives me a warning message

location address:\dundjinni.1.0.5 not found during copy

exiting installer.

what would be causing such an error?

I think Kepli miss this, there are some Win-7 threads here, most is about
getting the 1.0.7 installer..

Also try installing DJ to a directory other than Program Files.

Thanks for the input. I will see how it works tomorrow. How would I go about getting the 1.07 installer?

If you just need the patch, you can get it from the
Updates & Support
page
. If you need the Full Install, you need to contact the DJ Store and
provide your purchase information, and they will send you a download link
via email. It could take a few days before they get back to you, though.

Hey Salcor,
Were you able to get 1.0.7 applied, and if so how?

I just upgraded to Windows 7 x64 too and a full 1.0.7 installer sounds like a good idea to me ;)

DMDOMINION posted this solution, maybe it will help you.

Check entry near bottom of postings

" I found a solution, if you have certain versions of windows 7 you can download something called windows XP mode or Windows Virtual PC. It basically installs a version of Windows XP that you run like a mini-computer inside windows 7 and it runs things perfectly. I installed, updated and am not building maps again like a pro. Thanks for all the help everyone, I hope everyone else is able to resolve this issue as well.

Here is a link:
